  • Simply wonderful, thank you. ^_^

  • This was amazing! It enriched my perspective on the subject, as well as brightened my day!

  • your the best melissa! I had to remove the comment i wrote first.I felt like i sounded a tad white trash lol it wasn't very lady like not a good look.

  • i think this is a great short film. it makes me want to get the know the characters better. i like the song playing in the backround and lauren toglia is really really beautiful!

  • I think the film short is gorgeous. The people wrote messed up comments are just jealous. I'm sure their not even half as talented.

  • Comment removed

  • This is a perfect example of EVERYTHING wrong with the aforementioned hipster-faggotry that infiltrated american cinema; it requires no talent to use expensive equipment and faux-fey actresses who painfully ACT like ACTRESSES (spoiler; yr not supposed to tell they're acting); if this piece has 'touched' or 'moved' anyone, you deserve to live a wretched life of pitchfork top ten lists, brooklyn vegan rss feeds, and shitty movies that you can clearly strongly relate to. watching this ruined my day

  • Where are your tremendous works of perfect art, silentglow? Don't see any... no surprise there.

This film has a lot going for it, and if you had some actual, useful comments about filmmaking technique then I'm sure the filmmaker would be interested in them, but otherwise quit being a douchebag and a hater.

  • stop being so ass-hurt you pseudes;

    crit⋅i⋅cism /ˈkrɪtəˌsɪzəm/ [krit-uh-siz-uhm] S

    noun

    1. the act of passing judgment as to the merits of anything.

    2. the act of passing severe judgment; censure; faultfinding.

    3. the act or art of analyzing and evaluating or judging the quality of a literary or artistic work, musical performance, art exhibit, dramatic production, etc.

  • A useful comment about filmmaking? Tell whoever made this to stop.

  • I await calvinschools reply in the medium they seem to be so opinionated about. keep searching for their work but nothing comes up. I felt the piece was formed and framed for more than the uber-being yet still contains multi-dimensional messages. 2 cents from the masses.

  • damn, double post and no delete button

  • (cont'd) ...that'd be nice. And on and on. Plus you made a 5 min short so get a grip. And Without Dialogue. You're not even responsible for the mood. And by the way tell vanegasx (because i'm sure it's one of your friends) his or her comment doesn't make sense.

  • criticism is ok and all, but make it constructive. all you're doing is complaining - I'd expected to be able to click on your profile and see some incredible works of mind bending genius that would perhaps illuminate your point, but theres nothing there. its easy to rant but theres no substance behind your rant. there are a million rants out there of this same sort - you're working in a template you're not breaking any new ground. get it together man. i'd expected a rant of higher caliber.

  • there are a million shorts out there of this same sort. You're working within a template you're not breaking any new ground you're not expanding the language of film and no matter how you use the gay thing it's tired. No exhausted. Shit i can make a horse screwing a chimp look "beautiful. soft. natural" if i put that sigur ros song to it or any song of that sorts. Not to mention soft lighting or maybe some random shots of them having fun together.Like the monkey on the horses' back(cont'd)

  • beautiful. soft. natural. great camera work. perfect music. anyone who has ever loved will respond with a mellow smile on their face.

  • malicious shithead.

  • I was just thinking about this film again - and not because I particularly love it (no offense meant Dubs), and, amazingly, probably the dumbest thing you've said - and you said a lot of dumb things - was that it made no sense to pick two women to reflect his own relationship. Its already pretty presumptuous of you to think that this has to be an analogue to his relationship, but beyond that - why does it not make sense? The theme of this film is love, simply. cont...

  • And perhaps one of the most beautiful and consistently explored themes in any sort of media is love without constraint. Attempt to look objectively at the greatest love stories in history. Each tells of love transcending some difference, whether it be class, culture, sex, etc. Rather than using the "gay thing" as you so eloquently put it earlier, to be hip, it seems apparent that this is an illumination of the simple idea that love is what it is. (even more cont...)

  • There doesn't have to be any sort of caveat that goes with that. Thats it. As such, regardless of who loves who, the story should be able to play out as it does. Why is that such a terrible thing? This is really a very simple film - and scorning it the way you do, with a closed mind, is more along the lines of "ruining the American film scene," which, by the way, is a fucking gay ass thing to say.

  • This is beautiful, and the song by Sigur Ros is amazing.

  • You've made a strong poetic picture with visuals to match; well done.
