This was a planned sequel in the Eldoran series (Raijin-Oh, Ganbaruga, Gozaura) but got scrapped even before a pilot was made. I remember watching a promo featuring Daitei-Oh and the previous three Eldoran robots.

Very cool robot that is form, but I agree that the transformation is a little to long. Seems like the creators were using it to eat up show time to me.

That has to be the most needlessly complicated merging sequence since Voltron 3D. By the time you formed the giant robot the enemy would've laid waste and gone home. Eldoran would be interrupting the bad guy's family dinner.

It doesn't look like it was made in Japan. I know only two countries outside Japan that make anime-like cartoons and they are Korea and China. I suspect Korea could be the maker of this one.

@mumuwh Ah I found the info the title is Kanzen Shouri Daiteioh so it is japanese afterall my mistake but the animation looks wierd compared to Raijin-Oh and Ganbaruger. Perhaps this is a result of limited budget animation?

try going through walmarts dollar movies I got several that are dubbed, but they are kinda lame, the idiots back in the day wanted everything Americanized so the dubbing is pro America and the lip sync is out the window.

Nope. This is an OVA for the Eldran series. A series of giant transforming robots piloted by school children. They were made by Tomy, but are now merged with Takara, the original creators of the Transformers toys and the similar Yuusha series.
