Fun. I keep thinking that all these videos are a great educational resource. Kids in 8th grade or whatever could look at several of them and write a paper explaining which was the best rendition of the poem and why. And what would be a better way to present the poem? This requires real critical thinking. Meanwhile, the students are really immersed in the poem, and will always remember it.
And,,,Warners had Robert C.Bruce narrating Robert W.Service-"Dan McFoo", 1939, introducing Arthur Q.Bryan as the title character, pre-Elmer Fudd but with the same voice, one introduced on radio,
Hmmm..so this was posted in 2008. I saw the GAC Forums link here. Of course this studio is known for "Linus the Lio0nhearted"-and it's actually made by FORMAT FILMS.
great cartoon, my only gripe is that they missed out a lot of the poem, when the miner starts playib its described as a song about bieng out in the yukon, and lonleyness.
Cool cartoon, every now and again i like to see a cartoon like this one. not like those crappy Basterdized cartoons they try to show kids on t.v. these days.
it's more than a little anachronistic.

This is a sweet animation, but I'm afraid the voice just doesn't do Robert service.
