  • never burn black powder inside. You gotta be retarded to do that. If you are retarded you got no place to be messing with black powder. Have extreme fun extremely carefully.

  • By the way: sugar will not improve the powder. Stay with the traditional formula 75/15/10 and make your own charcoal. For this you can use debarked willow branches that are dry wood stuffed into a coffee-can and capped with a few layers of

aluminium-foil with a little hole to let the gasses run out of it when you put the can into glowing bbq-coal. Wait until there is no smoke/fire coming out of the hole anymore. Let it cool with foil still on top for an day. Then your super-coal is ready to use

  • @Danmasterx19 this was the traditonal formular of potassium nitrate garden sulfur and charcoal i just added a tiny bit of sugar

the sugar probally doesnt make a difference .

  • Hey,

this isn´t a decent black powder. You need to grind kno3/C/S together in a wet state with mortar and pestle for at least an half hour till your fingers won´t feel any little clumps of the nitrate etc. Then you have to force the stuff through a kitchen colander on a newspaper to corn it and let it dry in a safe location where no sparks and things are present. You can use some softwood charcoal which is the best to use. Always grind small amounts like 10 g each run. Please stay safe !!!
