ok... not ALL swedes, but in a survey taken on the internet by norwegians, swedes and danes, it came out that norwegians and danes understands each other alot better than swedes and norwegians/danes does. Norway was under denmark for a long time and the language got influensed by the danish language, so they are more similar to each other. If we have any problems understanding each other in the scandinavian countries, it's only because of some words that are different...

not true at all. the WRITTEN norwegian is very close and similar to Danish, the spoken, however, is closer to Swedish. Don't mix the spoken and written language.
And I'd really much like to see that survey you were chatting about, because the surveys I've seen claims otherwise, that Norwegian = spoken swedish written danish.
