To all those having a connection problem you must have DevMode enabled.

This can be done on your device by typing "upupdowndownleftrightleftrigh­tbastart", opening the DeveloperMode app, and enabling the feature.

It took me a few hours and I had to watch several similar videos, but I was able to finally make my Palm Pre Plus (ATT) to work. However, the tethering did not work through USB cable., but it worked fine on wi-fi. Go figure... Thank you for posting.

Hey i have the palm pre plus from VERIZON. I have noticed in most hacks/jailbreaks for the palm pre that there not verizon phones. and i was just wondering if it would work for palm pre PLUS from VERIZON (key differences) thanks

hey, i got a palm pre plus with 1.4.1.1 update an i downloaded the websquickinstall and i connect my pre to the computer in the just charge mode and when i click on the down blue errow its says "No Device Detected - Please Connect Your Device Then Hit Okay" i connected and then i got "ERROR: No Device Detected" so is there anything can do to make this work??

@diegurke123 non of you guys know that you have to ENABLE the develpoer mode. ok i will help you all, before you start using the webos , because it's gonna give u the error, go on your phone, main screen, start typing upupdowndownleftrightleftright­bastart exactly as shown in quotes (no spaces and no quotes). it will bring a menus , enable it, then restart it, now you should be able to use it.

if your getting the ERROR no device connected message, make sure you did all of the following:

1. have your palm pre connected to the computer

2. have turned on developer mode

3. have installed webosdoctor

4.have installed novacom

if you've done these things you should be set to go

You need to install novacom. To do so go to websquickinstall and go to file, options and click (re)installation Novacom
