You do seem like a well trained horseman but I use whips, first I cluck, say canter, gently kick, then tap. Some of the horses that have been ridden for years with different rides grow dull to the riders aids.

not trying to be mean but i use a whip and we dont HIT them with the whip you tap it on the ground so then they pay attention so you get them to be quiet before you ride.

Watching your videos make me want to learn more about different ways to sort out problems and to find out if its the rider or the horse, iam starting to view everything different.

I'd just like to say thank you for giving me another view of the horse world. I have been riding horse for years and am really tuned in on what the horses are feeling or telling me but you put them into words that make it easier for me to explain to people what I see. I'd like to one day train horse proffesionally and these videos are really helping me! Thank you!
