Bunnyman didn't leave carcasses of rabbits, he hung them by meat hooks at the entrance of the tunnel. Then people started seeing humans being hung and when police went to see who was hanging these people, bunnyman had hung himself by a meathook.

i heard that two girls went there one went into the bridge and the other stayed behind. the girl under the bridge turned around to find her friend hung by the neck off the bridge. the girl glanced back to the other side of the bridge to see a man in a bunny suit standing there with an axe. she took a doublle take and he was gone. she drove back and told police.

yeah i looked it up... there wasnt an insane asylum that long ago.. there was never one in fairfax county... so that totaly eliminaes the one verson of the story of that. but the sightings were in freakin 1970 and they were 9 days appart. so how the crap wouls that've pf worked anyways?
