You can tell the difference in Petrucci bewteen this version and the original studio version. In the studio version he plays a little out of tempo, and not entirely clean, but it's ok because the song is hard and he was a young musician. And this live version is almost perfect, musicially speaking...

I mean they were just looking for a temporary drummer to help them get back on their feet when theirs had totally unexpectedly died and Mike Portnoy was perhaps the best choice. Mike Portnoy didn't leave to join them nor have they asked him to join permanently at any point. So I find a lot of DT fans are being rather unfair to A7X.
