It is not correct. Now X Japan usually plug some images of Hide on megascreen, and some Hide's guitar solos are taken from "Last Live". The memers of X Japan still consider Hide as an effective member of the band; for this reason sometimes you can see Hide to play guitar.

That was what they said before. The doctor would not clear him for flight. That was the official reason. Apparently that's changed since he's been flying and they're filming several videos in California on January 9th.
