  • these 3DICKme deals are riDICKulous!! its jus taking the Vaseline from the butt rape that record companies have always given artists! its terrible! tours, shows and other outlets were the ONE saving grace that artists always had and now they are taking that!! Its like if you worked for McDonalds and You have to pay for the food that you eat when Ur there on the clock but THEN when U go home they also make you pay for the food you cook at home/prepare away from work and when U go out to eat! BS!

  • The Internet somewhat made everything worse, and how to sell your music on the Internet you got to negotiate with music online business like; iTunes. All that sharing of your money is bad for business.

  • very powerful information, it is parallel to my plight, thank u brotha for the insight, its priceless.

  • This shyt is on point like a MOFO... we need to boycott these frekin labels...they need a laws for this industry, everything is protocol, this is the part I hate about it.. Maybe the government needs to to set in place laws for the industry because at this point the whole business is just gonna fade away and go back to what it was originally was, on the street and juke joints, and hip hop will be back on the streets where it started..... Amen

  • this shit is on point!!!!!!

  • Earl Christian,

You are really doing the DAYUM thing, you are one of the hardest working men in the industry. I would like to link with you. I ran into Anthony two days ago in the street. What label is he at? He told me to get at him. I think I am ready for my interview. Lets book it...2009 BABY.....

  • Thank you very much! This has to be the best video I've seen with music biz insight. Please keep them coming, I'll be watching. Peace!

  • thanks that confirms a lot of what i was singing

  • Can you do a video about how artists get on national radio and TV? Digital distribution pretty much level the playing field as far as distributing your record. The barrier is getting on national radio and TV. It's acts on Youtube that have really big following here. I mean a joke act like TayZonday can get on TV but I real act like BoyceAvenue or LisaLavie1 can't breakthrough without some high powered management.

  • You can hire professional people to bribe dj's, journalists, send out press realeses ect.. That's what good managers do along with booking gigs. Type how 'klf manual' into google it's very outdated and a bit of parody but it explains how they got a independent uk number one back in the 80's.

  • very informative thanks !

  • good job
