  • Super

  • This is what boogie is all about.....YES!

  • Another HOT one from ZINGARA!...I'm going to have to go see if I can find this rare project...I can't believe how much music Lamont Dozier wrote and produced on his own after HDH: This one, Margie Joseph, Aretha Franklin, the Originals, Z.Z. Hill, 2 ABC albums of his own, 3 or 4 Warner Brothers albums, some Atlantic albums, the Lawrence Hilton-Jacobs project...WOW!

  • What a gem!!! Only just discovered this.

  • red hot!

  • After first hearing Zingara on WDAS in

Philly and on WHUR in D.C., I think this is

where James Ingram sings his best.

    Unfortunately, Zingara received no airplay

on NYC radio stations back in 1980 and 1981.

  • This is one of my favorite R&B tracks from 1981 that was very under rated, has an infectious groove, excellent musical arrangements, and of course, supreme vocals from one of the finest from the Quincy Jones musical family, James Ingram, grade A 80's R&B, no doubt about it!!

  • James Ingram did the lead vocal.

  • Aah, what a tune.

  • GREAT GREAT GREAT GREAT

  • Funk yeah!

  • Outrageous! Other than "Love's Calling", I have never heard of the sweet joint... until now. Thanks for posting, Veewee!

  • you deserve a medal for posting this veewee, ty a lot
