  • Very nice, I'm glad to read that you are not going to over carb that 289, a 600 should work nice.

  • Great car!

  • Man, great looking coupe. I have a 66 Blue silver. With Edelbrook 600CFM carb, 289 Performer intake, R/V cam, super hooker headers, 40 flow masters, 3.25 LSD, shelby dropped front. I am about to put a HVD super sucker spacer on it to see if it adds a little more pop to it. Does anyone else have any experience with the HVD super sucker spacers? Please advise if you do.

  • nice stang is it the GT

  • Thanks. No it is the standard 66. I just liked the hood and side scoop look.

  • It is a 289. It has a small RV cam. I put Hooker comp headers and flowmaster dual exhaust on it. I am getting ready to install an Edelbrock RPM manifold and 600 cfm carb.
