Although the spin dash strat does good, I prefer the sheildless attack strat so I can destroy an entire hand almost right away. Also, this is the only fight I think tails makes harder, if it wasn't for him, you could just bounce on the master emerald until it was down, but if he hits it you go right through it and die :( (You have hyper sonic I see, your Master Emerald glows!)

In SONIC and KNUCKLES you couldn't have tails as your sidekick so in this Lock-on version they just used the same ending

yeah, but they should have done something like in Sonic 3 where Tails left right before the final Boss.

Come to think of it, Tails 'death' in Launch Base makes a lot of sense if you play Sonic 3 then Sonic and Knuckles; because Tails is left at Launch Base and onic goes through the S+K levels alone till the ending...

if you buy sonic and knuckles there is a second slot at the top and the sonic 3 cartridge can go in the top to make sonic 3 and knuckles and this is the final boss
