  • Do this guitar stay in tune ? It's not the case of all Epiphone ;-)

  • Dindn't even tune the guitar... SHAME!!

  • @callumazoo11 well it depends on personal sound preference...do you want an "in your face" rock sound \m/ or do you want more of a bluesy, warm, sound...I have a dot and i love it...mabey that is because I love the blues sound and music...but idk...personal preference....(OH and btw...the Dot is actually surprisingly really good for metal tone also! ;))

  • Well, it is a bit out of tune. But this lad makes it sound pretty good anyway. Nice playing, son!

  • im guessing you guys have never heard of jazz music before.. Its JAZZ.. It doesn't matter as long as it sounds good~ and i felt it sounded great!

  • Look at all those fucks jumping on the bandwagon and bitching about the tuning, doesn't sound bad, quit bein whine-tits haha

  • TUNE THIS DAMN THING

  • Wasn't this guitar worth a decent tuning?

  • I have an epi les paul deluxe II and it`s a really good guitar. However, I tried one of these (in the uber cool white ltd edition) in my local guitar store and fell in love with it. So I have both now :-)

  • Great video if the guitar was in tune.

  • You're a music store. Don't you guys sell tuners?

  • should have tuned that baby up before putting it to shame...

  • is this good for chunky rhythm work?

  • im stuck between this or an epiphone les paul?

  • @callumazoo11 Then the only solution is to do what I did: Get both!

  • @callumazoo11 I have a Les paul and I plan on having both soon. But I would say to go for the dot, everyone has a Les paul,

  • @callumazoo11 i don't have a les paul but i just got the dot and i love it. it sounds great, feels great, and its just simply an amazing guitar.

  • @callumazoo11 Do you have a small build or a bigger build?

Cause I'm 6' 2" and the Dot helps me to stay steady, the LP's body is too small.

  • @callumazoo11 I have had both, and I liked the dot way better.

  • @callumazoo11 If your'e going Les Paul, check out the Agile AL series, preferably the Agile AL-3000. They are a great brand, better than Epiphone BY FAR, and are very affordable. Trust me.

  • @callumazoo11 What type of sound do you want? I own both and I have to say the epiphone dot deluxe is more features and sound for the money. The dot deluxe in vintage sinburst has a flametop and sounds amazing clean but even better with distortion. If you put it in the bridge postion and roll of the tone to 5 it gives the perfect tone of a les paul. Experimenting is key with this guitar. Get the dot.

  • seal the vacuums?, lmao,

  • 3rd string is out of tune!

  • nice channel

  • Hey is this a good gjuitar . does it have any problems?? plzz awnser

  • oh yeah? replacing stock epi dot pickups with anything makes it sound at least twice better.

  • do they all have this glossy finish or are some mat?

  • What is this? Break out some Johnny B Goode!

  • can you put p-90's on it

  • I'm thinking about getting one of these guitars. Does anyone know if it's worth putting 57 classics in this guitar after I buy it? I'm definitely not rich enough for a Gibson ES-335

  • i want a oreck vacuum in my pick up

  • How much is this guitar?

  • The G string is WAY out of tune.

  • Hey ! What amp are you using ? I totally love this tone

  • More playing of guitar, less of everything else please.

  • I have this guitar. It's beautiful. I don't think that this is a very good demonstration though.

  • next time tune properly

  • They don't mention that the input falls into the guitar and the volume control goes loose after a day. And the "E" falls off pretty easily.

With that said I love the guitar, a great guitar for its price, just be prepared to take her back to the shop to get the input fixed and put a new set of controls on.

(the input is covered under warranty, so don't make that put you off it!)

  • :11 instant win, warlock acoustic :D

  • such a wonderful guitar :D

  • Playing is not bad but i cannot imagine you can go on playing on a guitar so much out of tune!

  • It's a good idea to tune before you play...

  • it is out of tune

  • @NevadaMusicUK Thank you !

  • GUITAR OUT OF TUNE!!!

  • @Juda0326 not disagreeing, but how can u tell? XD

  • @PunksOfNature It is very obvious on the first part of your playing. I think the G string was a little flat.

  • @Juda0326 ah ok (wasnt me playing btw :L )

  • @PunksOfNature The playing is actually very nice.

  • @Juda0326 totally agree. thats why i want one :L the sound is beautiful

  • You guys don't stock the Ebony one, right?

  • Cherry would look the sex.

  • nice badly intonated guitar

  • 20% more tone? Wat?

  • This guitar is out of tune :P

  • Boutta get this .. Tried it in the store today & it feels and sounds great.

  • i have a 1998 Gloss Black 335, most beautifull guitar ever.

  • It's a lot of guitar for a little money. Sounds great and looks just like the 'real' thing. The neck feels a bit thick but easy to play. Wouldn't part with it.

  • Epiphone own pickups?

  • @StephenFiorentini Well, they're designed by Epiphone..

  • @StephenFiorentini They are from gibson!!!

  • is this guitar good for all styles of music?

  • Damn, I'd fly to the UK just to go to this store.

  • GregsGuitars-like cheesines.

  • porn music!

  • Oh why do I have to live here where they don't have any good guitar stores. These beauties are always just too far away from me...

  • how is the sound compared to a ES 335?

  • Tune your guitar dumb fuck!

  • Whoa, you brought in an actual music doctor to evaluate the pickups??

    That's incredibly incredible!!!

  • why dont they sell this fucking thing in white?

i want ALPINE WHITE LIKE MY CUSTOM

  • @IcarusCinematics ive seen one in alpine ... at a rush concert in tampa i got a pretty close look at alex's guitars and he had a custom es in white and it was beautiful ... i also have an sg in alpine and i still have yet to find one more eye appealing ... its a truely lovely finish

  • @IcarusCinematics because alpine whit just makes it look too modern ya know

  • @IcarusCinematics the first thing that came to my mind was this in white, then (for some reason) the Gretsch White Falcon haha

  • @IcarusCinematics They do now! Hooray!

  • @IcarusCinematics

They do too, Gold Hardware too like a white falcon!

Try on Andertons they have them there

  • @IcarusCinematics Spray paint?

  • @IcarusCinematics

Because a real 335 doesn't come in white.

  • @WoWintosh what you mean "real 335"

    This is real.

  • @IcarusCinematics

If Gibson made a Casino, would it be a real Casino? No, because Epiphone made it first. Likewise, if Epiphone makes a 335, it's not a real 335 since Gibson made it first. By your logic, a $120 SX Strat copy would be a real strat, which it is not. More accurately, a Squier strat copy would be a real strat. Once again, it is not.

  • @WoWintosh its a real guitar.

    its not imaginary. its real.

i kinda skimmed your comment. but its a real guitar. its real enough for me.

whats unreal is $3000-4000 price tag on a "real" 335.

  • @IcarusCinematics

Nice play on words, not. Also, 4000 dollars my left asshole, the satin finish ES-335 is 2 grand, and that thing sounds unreal. Better than the fancier ones, even.

  • @WoWintosh You have multiple assholes? Makes sense considering your personality.

  • @IcarusCinematics Royale model! check it.

  • You should re-record this to be in tune with the backing track because it makes the guitar sound worse than it is

  • This is my future fiance

  • @ivicadzajo mine too, very soon i hope

  • sounds out of tune to the cheesy backing track!!

  • @matthewgwilt I think it will only attract women looking for shoes.

  • @matthewgwilt Yeah man! It was a tough shoot, most of the guitars had just come out of the box, and each one was set up diffrently, there wasnt to much time to get each one properly intonated and set up. :)

  • does this guitar sound good with distortion for playing green day for example and maby for some louder things like metallica because i really like it(the feel, the look and the sound but i like plying rock in general.

  • @eduardozpn I've had a couple of these models, now I have the Elite edition (Made in Japan), and they're good for rock'n roll. I've even used them for hard rock. It all depends on how loud you're playing, but you will surprised at how much volume they are able to handle. Good guitars considering the price.

  • @IHIKML

    oh thanks dude!

because i simply loved this guitar but im not a big fan of blues and jazz i prefer rock and metal.

i am in doubt betwwen this one and the epiphone les paul plus top.

it is a very difficult choice.

    thank you.

    you really helped!!!

  • So I wonder, is this a goo guitar or a disapointing guitar? Everyone seem to have different oppinions. I have always like this guitar and I was suppose to purshase it. But now i don't really know. How's the quality? Tell me tell me! I am suppose to make up my mind tomorrow.

  • what should i get? an ephiphone sg, ibanez jetking ephiphone wilshire or this guitar???

  • why do cheap guitars sound as good as fenders and gibsons most of the time?

  • @versnellingspookie There's a lot more to a guitar than a name my friend.

  • @versnellingspookie people used to say the same thing about gibsons and fenders!

  • i got maple finish ,its nice, but this is the best finish i reckon, iam a bit gutted, nice axe though

  • im gettin one these for christmas

  • @jias188 i got the natural finish 3 weeks ago, you wont be dissapointed its a lovely guitar

  • @strabbs1 good! its gonna be a long wait for me

  • I will play jazz just for have that great sound

  • It is one of the best guitars you get for that price...

  • I have this in cherry red and have done a few vids. It's a great guitar

  • is there a big difference between the epiphone and the gibson model?

  • @MrKoupi What are you? Retarded?

  • @gmalox well other than the fact that ones made in usa the others made in asia it's a pretty legitimate question. i'd think twice before asking that question ever again.

  • @sunp yeah. I guess so. I own a Gibson ES335. But I was curious as well about the Epiphone vs Gibson differences when i bought the Gibson so I played both at the shop. The Gibson just felt and sounded like a high quality instrument. You could definitely tell the difference. Is it worth the (lot of) extra deniros? Up to you I guess. I certainly haven't looked back.

  • @MrKoupi Obviously... This Epiphone its ok only for beginners.

  • i think the sheraton would be better

  • That is such a beautiful guitar. I'm gonna cry :'}

  • You guys and proguitarshop have the best vids on youtube :)

  • @LordOfThisWorld74 and the best guitars

  • @davidetsonskate Yea, but PGS has too many fenders lol

  • awsome, but have you them in cherry?

  • @19TC96 Yes, Cherry in stock too....
