Reverend Henry Kane was creepy as hell...its a shame part 3 was a piece of shit...starting with the KANE new impersonator...everything looks so crappy..that in my opinion i rather say Poltergeist has just 2 movies...lets see what hollywood do on 2013 remake..i hope they enhance the original idea into a well done product & not just another senseless remake like those theyve done with othe r movies for the past few years.

Through her dreams, she traveled different Astral plains and he did some sick things to her. He tore out his rib infront of her. The reason Tangina questions herself in the second isn't because she failed in the first, Cane injured her and her third sense. It was Taylor that saved her, and the necklace in the third movie is actually his.

the thing that made me wanna watch this movie is because i watch E! Special Doomed to Die. It features the "curse" of the Poltergeist movie saying that the 1st P movie are using and actual skeletons!! that's the reason that they believe that the set of P is cursed..but poor Heather and Dominique....
Ok there are only and always have been 2 Poltergeist movies, the third sucked balls it's like the same situation with the Alien movies 2 of them would of been enough, the 2nd film of Poltergeist was not as scarry as the first but was still just as good, but the 1st film was the best of all the third film just doesnt come in to it, it just destroyed what was and still is a masterpiece.
I thought P-2 was better than P-3. Although, Heather said she didn't think that P-2 was all that scary. She said it tactfully, but I know she thought it was shit. I didn't like P-3 because I knew it was Heather's final film, plus the voice of Kane sounded more like a horny pervert than an evil spirit. I will say that Heather's acting in P-3 was very natural and believable. Of course, I'd see any film with Heather in it, just to see her alive and talking. Thank God for film.
One and two are such wonderful classics. Three is crap, but I couldn't bare to watch it again any way because poor Heathers cheeks are swollen from her illness and you can tell she's badly sick. Poor baby :(
poltergeist is the only one that has a chance of having a good remake watch it and think about how the effects could be improved and how it could be scarier

Poltergeist 2 was pretty decent sequel. Visual effects were ok and the whole atmosphere was creepy. All the actors/actresses did a wonderful job.

Julian Beck, who plays Kane in this movie, was one very interesting man in real life! LOL Read the Wikipedia article on him. He got busted for several different crimes over the years, was in an open marriage (in which he and his wife shared a male lover), and had a tryst with another guy at one point. His type of acting and theater also matched well with his role in this....

I think I've heard somewhere before was that the assumption was that she (as well as her mother and grandmother) was psychic to a certain extent which made her attractive to the spirits.

The actor, Will Sampson who played the Indian, Taylor was the third victim of the Poltergeist Curse. He knew the production was haunted and used his Native American rituals to bless the set and others. But died a year later after this was released. Craig T. Nelson who played the father wanted to visit his grave to pay his respect. He approached his grave and said "Hey Will, it's Craig"
I find it sad but I wonder if Craig T. Nelson attended Heather O'Rourke's funeral also to other victims.

the thing that made me wanna watch this movie is because i watch E! Special Doomed to Die. It features the "curse" of the Poltergeist movie saying that the 1st P movie are using and actual skeletons!! that's the reason that they believe that the set of P is cursed..but poor Heather and Dominique....

Ok there are only and always have been 2 Poltergeist movies, the third sucked balls it's like the same situation with the Alien movies 2 of them would of been enough, the 2nd film of Poltergeist was not as scarry as the first but was still just as good, but the 1st film was the best of all the third film just doesnt come in to it, it just destroyed what was and still is a masterpiece.

I thought P-2 was better than P-3. Although, Heather said she didn't think that P-2 was all that scary. She said it tactfully, but I know she thought it was shit. I didn't like P-3 because I knew it was Heather's final film, plus the voice of Kane sounded more like a horny pervert than an evil spirit. I will say that Heather's acting in P-3 was very natural and believable. Of course, I'd see any film with Heather in it, just to see her alive and talking. Thank God for film.

One and two are such wonderful classics. Three is crap, but I couldn't bare to watch it again any way because poor Heathers cheeks are swollen from her illness and you can tell she's badly sick. Poor baby :(
