  • Oh, my god, is that Joel Gray??? I knew it when he started singing! ^_^

  • i love how in part 9/14 how well the police scene was set up

  • Joel Gray, still a fucking BOSS

  • esto esta bien pi:)

  • the look on her face at 7:25. so cute.

But why didn't she tell them?!?!? Was Bill that important to you Selma?

  • The wife in this movie is the prostitute in american psycho.

    fitting.

  • i don't understand why she didn't atleast tell them about her sons condition. Her son was going to find out that had the disease anyway when he got his operation. I use to like this movie but now i just realized that i can not take it anymore. I know its just a movie. But FUCK IT! She neds to quite dancing and wake the fuck up. Bill didn't care about her and her sons condition, she shouldn't care about him.

  • Are we supposed to interpret Selma's daydreams (and the songs in this) as madness? Hallucinations?

  • @theultimateotaku

they are metaphors for the things that matter most... the human spirit, love, our desire to live.... so basically yes, you are right... madness and hallucinations....

  • How I hate liars!

  • @sepidehtje i hate them to >(

  • FUCK.

why doesnt she just tell him the fulllll story. AGH

  • why is she on the stand? defendants never take the stand.

  • @ohweloveeverton Yes they do.

  • WHY DID SHE LIE ABOUT HER FATHER!? D':

  • "I promised not to say"

    AAAAAAAAAAAARGH

  • cool the guy she's dancing with is Joel Grey!!

  • I respect Selma so much. I wish there were more people like her. BUT I AM SURE, they would let her go is she just spoke the truth. Thus, I really wish that she would reveal Bill's secret. It is great that she wants to keep his secret for the sake of their friendship, but she is in a dire situation!

  • Oh this is so dishonest! I want to scream!

  • Big hole in the plot - the bank would have known that Bill Houston was BROKE! Yet the prosecution states he had money. Selma's lawyer would surely have known this.

  • This is a kangaroo court!

  • This Auldrich Novi guy is a horrible singer! lol.. Not sure how he was even a famous guy in musicals.

  • Yo, she daydreams so much in her fantasy world that she can't even function as a human being in reality! You're being put on trial for murder woman! Focus, react, speak out, whatever! I'm sorry to say but to me, she's psychologically disturbed.

  • @afr0flava When you are blind, don't you think it's hard not to daydream? Imagine being in totally darkness all day long. Even while on trial, all she could do was listening to the things being said. I could understand how a person in her situation would always daydream. Daydreaming is the only view that she has.

  • @dainfamazone05 True...

  • To an outsider this may be an open and closed case, but this just proves that people need the WHOLE story.

  • That last song made me smile yet sad at the same time.

  • Selma is an idiot in this movie she deserves to go to jail.

  • God i just want to jump in in the movie and hug her....

  • I love Zeljko Ivanek :)) I admit it.

  • @rleigh87 I agree I like him too. :)

  • I hate it that they always term her as "this communistic woman" like that has anything to do with anything.

  • 4:20 AHHH It's Joel Grey!!!

  • Why did she have to be so quiet? Couldn't she say what happened? And what about her lawyer? Was he even able to speak?

  • "Mum's the word." She promised.

  • no lawer yo

    probably a public deffendant...

  • that amazed me too but guess you have to have more money to get a talking lawyer lol.

  • If she had said, oh i payed for my son's operation... they'd take the money and he wouldn't get it.

  • I love how he sings "This is your musical"... It's true, it is (/was).

To comment on the rest of this part, it kills me how she won't just speak up for herself.

  • bill houston and his wife are an two fucking assholes!!!!i hope they´ll go to hell!!!:P

  • @IvanTube9 their not real people

  • 'In the Musicals'. PERSONALLY i think this song should have had the oscar nomination and not 'I've Seen It All'.

  • No, you are too fucking stupid to understand the movie. I could explain it to you, but you know what? Fuck you. You are an idiot.

  • the song in this bit is so great. id say it was the best in the film which is indeed a hell of a film!

  • if they had looked at the scene of the murder, they would have seen all of the stray bulets in the carpet, known that maybe her sight wasn't good and guessed as to WHY she had to hit him on the head. :( This is so sad!!!! Makes me angry!!!!

  • i feel so frustrated, i mean, why doesn't she just tells all the truth to all that jerks that are trying to blame her!!

  • because she promised bill she wouldn't tell

  • She's looks so innocent and sad when she's answering questions for the lawyer. I just want to hug Selma and take her away from all of her strife. :'(

  • it didnt have to be that aldredge novey. That isnt proper evidence

  • haven't these people ever heard of self-defence?

  • When I saw this for the first time, it depressed me SO MUCH when the beautiful musical scenery returned to the horrible reality. I thought everything was going to be fine, and then it's back to the grim truth... so sad :(

  • Ok I'm finding this part slightly irritating. No one would be that naive, especially when they're on trial for murder!

  • Whenever I'm in a room full of a**holes that don't give a damn about me, I pretend we're in a musical and that they're all dancing for me just like that scene!!

  • this is very heart wrenching and i like sad movies but this one is awfully unfair and sad...but i love the music parts it makes it okay at times when it's not and i love when the mood and light change

  • the judge really should watch this movie first before he judges her.

  • ??? what chipmunk? this is a movie, the judge is an actor.

  • it was a joke. lol.

  • nah is beautiful is life

  • its so sad!!!! :(

  • it isnt, its beautiful!

  • i love this movie. but it disturbed me psychologically :(

  • i feel the same

  • JOEL GREY!?

  • Yep, Broadway legend, Joel Grey. :D

I love him and Bjork!!! :D

  • i like this film BUT ITS SO FRUSTRATING

  • "You were always there to catch me"

You're all going to think I'm stupid for saying this, but I always felt this way about George Harrison.

Whenever I feel hopeless and alone, I put on "Here comes the Sun" and somehow it raises my spirit.

  • i love this movie so far

your a hero for puttin this up

    its so sad :o(

  • Aaaaagghh!!!

I just want to scream at her..."Tell them the full story!!!" I want to stick up for her!

  • @bandcall yeah, never knew being blind meant being stupid too. And she keeps smiling! Damn woman, stand up for urself!

  • @bandcall seriously, just tell the whole story, Selma!!

  • i wish she told the judge everything and they let her go and she could live a happy life. but that would defeat the porpouse wouldnt it?

  • SHE SHOULD HAVE SAID WHY HE WANTED HER TO KILL HIM!!!!!!!

y didnt she talk about the surgery for her son???

  • she was afraid if he found out about the surgery he would make his eyes worse by worrying

  • its so frustrating to watch its not selmas fault!

    bjork is amazing in this

  • Joel Gray, he is simply a god

  • Magnifique

  • yes it is Joel Gray and he is very talented I must say

  • Is the man who played Novi Joel gray from Cabaret?

  • I love this movie, but this part is sooo hard to watch! Poor Selma! :(

  • Thank you!!! I love this movie!
