What happens if you take too long to escape Ortega after using the thermal detonater?

Nothing happens. I've tried leaving the computer on for a half hour and nothing occurs.

I did a bit of testing, and it turns out it IS possible to die if you take too long to escape.

I'm not sure how long the timer is, but if you take too long, then upon entering your ship, you get a message saying that an earthquake causes you and your ship to fall in the lava, and you get the usual "fondue" message.

It's not much to see, but I might put up a video response later.

After Quest for Glory, What is your Next Adventure Game that? If you can't think of Any other Adventure Games can you do Lode Runner, Pac-Man, Tetris, Sudoku, Nintendogs, Excel, Vista.

Just kidding. :) Great stuff. Definitely brings back the memories. You know I don't think I even heard of the Laura Bow series back then. It was completely under the radar for me which is such a shame. Thanks for the good work though!

Quest for glory is pretty much going to be the last series I can do. While some of those games you mention would be interesting, they're not DOS games and therefore I can't do them. And the three Sierra Series are the only ones that I have.

I'm glad you like these games but I can only do the Quest for Glory Series after this. I don't have the other games (though I wish I did) and and some of them you mention don't have ways to die anyway.

Mixed-Up Mother Goose doesn't have any single way to die. And though there is a way to die in Monkey Island 1, that's it for that particular game series which is the only one that I have in Lucas Arts.
