  • "HAH!"

  • Chrono trigger :X

  • Lol they even did the "HUH!"

  • Anybody know the Asian percussionist's name ?

  • @TheAlpha0zero Yes, I fell in love too. Fucking gorgeous

  • @TheAlpha0zero Her name is Noriko Terada.

    (彼女の名前は寺田典子です。)

  • I get chills whenever I hear the main theme. Its...just so uplifting you know?

  • like dreaming of time >>>>

  • Love it. Simply LOVE IT. Also I love how they are all smiling, showing how much they love what they are doing.

  • this is the best RPG of all time! Thanks IGC, you rocked! really beautiful

    by BRAZIL

  • i love watching these guys perform. they toss out all pretense of what a classical performance "should be" and just have fun with it while playing some great music.

  • @Tr3s3ntos i have one keyboard i dont know do many things

i know do Ct Theme very well

is the only thing who made me never give up !

  • great !!!

  • I love this small orchestra <3

  • Love it, especially from 2:40 on.

  • I watched this over and over lol

  • 一人だけイエケンがいるな。かっこいい。

  • whoaaaa... this group is the shit.

  • ッハ! カエルのとこがすごいクル

  • FUCKING GOOSEBUMPS, MAN

  • @Yarikh91 hum?

  • 1:40 cry

  • man this is why music, arts, and theater have all the fun and they seem to be more lively.

  • Absolutely love Chrono Trigger and its music. If I could only have one RPG to play for the rest of my life, this is the one.

  • you know, i play a little woodwind and a bit of brass, and they aren't exactly easy to pickup and play. but i will never cease to be amazed when i watch people play strings.

  • Want to learn the piano, but i'm 18 already... Oh well, better later than never right?

  • @Tr3s3ntos Totally =)

  • @Tr3s3ntos im 25, and i'm gonna learn...i'ts never late :D

  • @Tr3s3ntos Yeah, im on the same age as you and i started to learn violin around 6 months ago, just keep practicing and you could do the same things like in the video.

  • @Tr3s3ntos hey it's never too late man. I started when i was young but i have been teaching my gf to play and she's been coming along pretty well. I'm sure you could too!

  • @Tr3s3ntos It is really possible to learn to play piano when you are eightteen years old. I started when I was seventeen, so I know :P. It is just that when you are like, six years old, you have a less busy schedule so you can practice better. You will have to practice a lot in the beginning (and in the beginning at may seem impossible sometimes) but it will be fine if you really want to ;)

  • the millennium fair! ftmfw!

  • excelent...

  • @zigyzigy13 what i'd like to kno is, do you yourself even play a single instrument? lol

  • awesome i love

  • exquisita melodía...

  • I love it all especially the drop at 4:23-4:27.

  • I love how people try to correct someone's grammar and can't even spell it properly, and their own grammar is messed up.

  • who´s saying ha!! ?? and how someone could dislike this, btw?

  • @abreufortaleza The people in the orchestra are most likely doing the "Ha".

  • girl percussionists turn me on

  • orchestra videos make me wish i had continued playing a musical instrument into highschool and beyond

  • The music is naturally great and well executed, but what I like the most in this video is to watch the musicians really enjoying their performance.

  • Any musician should control their dynamics and play is precisely AT LEAST to this level. The guy could even control more of his dynamics(perhaps by playing the piano instead of keyboard). The standard of the classical music in America is very low. I

    watch?v=aZjMToY1id4&feature=channel_video_title

  • 3:14開始,熟悉的旋律讓人淚流滿面啊~~~(TAT)

  • 1 dislike

    Magus, what is your account?

  • @SupahNickeo Should be Lavos :P

  • I love the originality they put in this medley! It's refreshing!

  • why does Magus' theme get no love in any Chrono Trigger medleys ever?? Personally I think it's so much better than the obligatory "frog's theme".

  • 1 guy has no heart and deaf....

  • awesome. . .

  • Se eles fizessem um "Xenogears Medley" seria perfeito.

  • Chrono Trigger... probably the best RPG of the whole history!!

and always in the top 5 of all games!

    I love it

i'll comeback to Snes Era in the Epoch!

  • this made me cry T-T ...... this is awesome *-*

  • whoa, felt my eyes water up at the main chrono trigger theme. heh. idgaf, its a memorable adventure, that game. and as we all know, a heck of a lot of people agree.

  • Lol, even if they make mistakes, doesn't change the fact that there Alot better than most people who don't know how to play the instruments.

  • Comment removed

  • You know what I like about this compared to other video game concerts. The performers actually look like they're having fun, and I bet most of them are gamers, too. Other concerts with professional musicians just seem like the performers are just there for a paycheck and don't really care about what they're playing. With these guys, you can see their excitement and joy when they play these songs.

  • this brings me back

  • I've always whistled along to all of my favorite old rpgs. I always thought it was weird that I still remember every one of the songs by heart 10-15 years later. Now I realize something I didn't when I was younger, it's because I was listening to masterpieces. I'll never get the same feeling from listening to mainstream music, of any genre, that I get from listening and watching performances like this.

  • If I'd been there, I would have started cheering as soon as they started Frog's Theme and ruined it for everyone. It would have been loud because, hot damn, I love that song.

  • Excellent performance! :D

  • 4:54 Eargasm...

  • #1, the pianist need tp play the intro clearly every note.

#2 The person who is blowing the flute needs to blow it clearly as well as others who are blowing the instrument.

The mistake that these people have is that they don't know how to play every note clearly and the dynamics they use is ALL the same in pattern which you are not supposed to do. It's basic.

  • @zigyzigy13 I think you need to stop criticizing every little thing they do, can't you see they're havin fun, and can't you see that everyone here is enjoying the music? Sit back, relax, man. Just enjoy the music.

  • @Lionsbayne 2:11-12 is out of tune. 2:14 out of tune and even more.

The guy at 3:44 is out of key many times, many.

It doesn't matter whether they are ejoying or not. What is wrong is wrong. If your basic is wrong, you will never improve no matter how much you practice.

  • @zigyzigy13 its just in a different key...

  • @zigyzigy13 Nowhere in any of this video was anyone out of tune. It's called putting emotion behind every note. These people do that. Aside from the flute player, I can't see one person not doing this. The soprano saxophonist at 3:44 adds a lot of jazz technique to the music. Bending notes and growling don't count as being out of tune. He was not out of tune once. Stop being such a music stiff.

  • @zigyzigy13 Nowhere in any of this video was anyone out of tune. It's called putting emotion behind every note. These people do that. Bending notes and growling don't count as being out of tune. He was not out of tune once. Stop being such a music stiff.

  • @Chickenational Oh. yes. It is 100% OUT of TUNE. It's very simple why most of the people like you can't hear what is out of tune. You are listening to crappy music who have no real skills in music. Your videos in your channel proves it. putting emotion> Putting emotion means to use your dynamic and vibration correctly which they all fail to do. Bending notes>It's called OUT of TUNE. The song is designed not be bend. Any real musician will know it, especially the Japanese

  • @zigyzigy13 You are right that it is out of tune but not to most ears... Even still, it could have been 1 instrument that ruined perfection. I didn't listen attentively. The tempo was also different from the original song BUT it doesn't mean that it's appropriate to start a flame war. You also just need to appreciate the other parts of the song... like the memories it brings and the timbre of the instruments which brings goosebumps. I should also add that the sax solo was great.

  • @taloton No body is starting a flame war. Just stating a fact. A real musician will not make mistakes at the fundamental level such as dynamics, staying on tune etc, especailly on classical music.

  • @zigyzigy13 Man, shut the fuck up.

  • @Forsaken593 Calm down calm down. It's ok. No need to get mad.

  • @zigyzigy13 I'm not mad, you're just being an ass lol. Simple as that, enjoy the music and stop complaining.

  • @Forsaken593 It's called pointing out the mistakes. Nothing wrong with it since nobody sees their obvious mistakes. If you are a real musician, you are not supposed to make those basic mistakes. Simple as that.

  • @zigyzigy13 Trolololol. Admire the great tribute to a great video game and soundtrack. If not. Stfu and Gtfo

    Sincerely~ Troll haters everywhere.

  • @iPsych09 Nobody is hating on them. Just pointing out their mistakes, the fundamental ones. Before you open your mouth, listen to the Japanese orchestra from Japan. If you didn't and have not noticed anything, then you are not qualified to tell me what you just told me. Calm down. Life is great. Get used to opinions of other people. If you can't, then you will always stay as a loser.

  • @zigyzigy13 When i say Sincerely~ Troll haters everywhere, I'm saying Sincerely~people everywhere who hate trolls/who commit the act of trolling" You may not be hating on them, But you havent said 1 nice thing about it at all. and saying they are 100% COMPLETELY OUT OF TUNE IN ALL CAPS just shows what an arrogant prick you are. GTFO. You're critiques are worthless here. And yes i have listened to Japanese orchestra. Many times. Sure theyre not as good as japan, doesnt mean they arent good at all

  • @iPsych09 You can say whatever you want to say but they are 100% out of tune. No arrogance in there whether you like it or not. Pointing out the turth is not an arrogance. My criticism is wothless to you because you don't know anything about music. That's why you didn't clarify how the Japanese orchestra is better than them even though you claim that you have seen the Japanese orchestra. Any real musicians in Japan would say the exact thing as what I said previously.

  • @zigyzigy13 i agree but it doesnt make it any less anjoyable

  • @zigyzigy13 This isn't a japanese orchestra, so your points don't matter at all. I also didnt say that the Japanese orchestra was better because i couldnt fit it in one text. If you dont like it then do not come back to this page/video. Your criticism is worthless to me, the people that are reading this, AND to the people in this video because if they want to improve they'll listen to their instructors. Not you. you may be thinking your helping with your critiques, but they are just empty words

  • @iPsych09 Nobody said they are Japanese orchestra. Read carefully. I'm not pointing out for you. If you don't want to listen, then don't reply. It's that simple. Moreover, nobody said I'm pointing out their mistake for the people in the vid or for you. It's for people who are wise enough to listen what other people say. It's empty words accrding to you because you know nothing about music, obviously. Whether you like it or not, I'm telling the truth.

  • Comment removed

  • @zigyzigy13 You keep comparing them to japanese orchestra. Like a moron. More than 5 people disagree with what you have to say. They reply because you aggravate them. You may think you are helping with your critiques, or you may be trying to act smart online, but what you are actually doing is minimizing the talent shown in this video. Get on stage and play, or send me a link to a video of you playing music. Then we'll talk from there. If not, then the conversation ends here.

  • @iPsych09 Read my previous comment until you understand English. Most of the Americans do not have the ear to tell how good they are or bad because people like you listen crappy music on a daily basis. that's why you do not challenge on the specific things I said about them.

  • @zigyzigy13 Like i said before. If you can do better, prove it. If not, you have no right to critique someone else on the effort they put into a project such as this. And don't act like you know everything. Its audacious for you to even think you have a clue of what i listen to. American this, American that, I LIVE IN LONDON you twat

  • @iPsych09 Your profile says you are from the US. I just realized that you are jsut 17 years old. No wonder.

Moreover, if you are from the UK, then you should know their mistakes since the British are a lot better than the Americans in terms of controlling the dynamics, and actually over all music skills.

  • @zigyzigy13 Let's see. I just looked over the previous comments at the start of this discussion. It starts with me saying "Admire the great tribute to a great video game. If not stfu and gtfo" You clearly wanted to start a fight with commenting with your arrogant response. One i never said i didn't see there mistakes, but i didn't have the audacity like you to make a statement about it, i rather gave them credit for their efforts. You on the otherhand are making a statement noone cares for.

  • @iPsych09 Start a fight? Neh. I can say what want to I say and it is called "freedom of speech". A 17 year old like you probably wouldn't understand what it means to speak freely because you are constantly brainwashed by the schools you go. Stating your opinion is "arrogance", according to a 17 year old person. You care about my comments because you keep replying to me and you are the one who first replied to me. So you care very much what I say.

  • @zigyzigy13 Lol I care that you respond, I don't care for the points you make. Which infact was what i was adressing. And what's with you trying to act all high and mighty by thinking you know how each and every person is based on stereotypes. "Crap music you listen to" "Brainwashed school you go to." How the fk do u know if im not homeschooled or if i skipped grades. You are arrogant. If everyone lived the world based on stereotypes as much as you we would barely get anywhere.

  • @zigyzigy13 And to be so serious about this that you actually looked through my profile to find my personal information is pathetic and shows what you do with your life. By your understanding of music, i believe you are older than me, and if you are older than 17 you should have an adult life already. So quit babbling to some teenager and get on with your life. You clearly have had nothing positive to say about this video. So do eveyrone a favor and shut up so i can shut up too.

  • @iPsych09 Hmm? How is looking a person's profile pathetic? Ah, you are 17 and you don't make any sense. The typical teen who knows nothing, I'd say. Define adult life if you can even with your age.

  • @zigyzigy13 You went through my background to prove a point.. Doing that in order to win over a petty internet arguement is PATHETIC. Adult Life = Able to generate a stable income in order to support yourself, Having the proper amount of social interaction to keep yourself connected with society, Not arguing with a 17 year old because what point are you trying to get through his/her head. The fact that there are people out there better than others? There always will be that's common sense..

  • @iPsych09 Checking your profile only takes 10 seconds to do. It proves even more that you are a 17 year old teen who doesn't know what he/she is talking about. Your definetion already proves how much you know nothng about the world since you are just a 17 year old person. This is why you didn't know what I was talking about. Successful people who are at the top, especially top musicains will know exactly what I'm talking about.

  • @zigyzigy13 I'm sorry but as i've said before NOONE CARES ABOUT WHAT YOUR TALKING ABOUT. I respond because its the polite thing to do. You respond because you try to prove a point NOONE CARES ABOUT EXCEPT FOR YOU. Jesus christ if you really are an adult grow up already. Are you proud of what your doing? is this what you talk to your coworkers about? Cause i honestly believe they will think you're absolutely fking pathetic for arguing with someone over the internet

  • @iPsych09 Hahaha! NOONE CARE! NOONE! What does that even mean! I respond because its the polite thing to do> Bwa haha! Really!? fking pathetic> Calm down calm down. Tell your parents to teach you how to use some proper words. I simply respond because you make some childish accusation that makes no any sense about me. Check the word what "argue" means. You do not know exactly what it means. Perhaps your papa and mama can teach you.

  • @zigyzigy13 What's the point in arguing with a 17yearold who CLEARLY does not care about the points you make. It just shows how immature you are for trying to win this petty arguement. A word to describe all this, PATHETIC. When this is over i hope you feel proud cause this is DEFINITELY the thing old people feel proud about. Plus you've been doing this for over 2months and not one person has agreed with you. So please, just shut up. There is no point.

  • @iPsych09 CLEARLY does not care about the points you make> Another contradiction right there. Check the word what "CLEARLY" means. trying to win> So that's why you keep replying to my comments. not one person> Hahaha! But MOST of the Japanese would agree with me and disagree with you. For some reason, you love the people on the vid to death and that's why you defend them like a baby without making any sense. It is time to go back to a grammer class so you can make more sense, the 17.

  • @zigyzigy13 lol raging kids

  • @zigyzigy13 And so it begins. Japanese would disagree to what exactly. Being a grammar nazi ONLINE, AS IF ANYONE CARES ABOUT GRAMMAR IN A FKING COMMENT. Only people like you trying to find ways to be more superior would point out grammar mistakes to people who don't care about their grammar because ITS ONLINE IN A COMMENT ABOUT A VIDEO. Not a fucking article/essay/any source of credible writing. Both of us have ruined this video for this petty arguement. Just do your part and shut up

  • @zigyzigy13 Hey dude.. just what the hell is wrong you? You don't know shit about music, not about fun, not about appreciating their (extremely well rewarded) efforts and you're probably a huge jerk with no life. If you can't shut the hell up then just go kill yourself or something..

  • @SomeAnimeOtaku You are 17. time to go back to school to learn some morals.

  • @zigyzigy13 hahahaha yeah I am 17, but even a 10 year old has more understanding of music than you do:P

Probably a ton of things more, but we're just talking about music. And do you have any trouble processing information? I told you to stfu or go kill yourself:P

  • @SomeAnimeOtaku Read my previous commetns if you even understand music. You are 17, a 17 who knows nothing about music, but pretends to know it. Calm down and go back to schoo.

  • @zigyzigy13 olol the more you say about me being 17 and therefor not being able to understand things, the more you prove that you're just an immature, ignorant, cocky non-musical retard, becouse everybody knows you're you're way off and that the things you say are just plain BS:P

  • @SomeAnimeOtaku you say about me being 17 and therefor not being able to understand things> Grammatically wrong.. Still a 17 years old who doesn't make sense just like the other teen, the spoiled brat.

Refer which particular people are "everyone" in your 17 year old definition. Also, be specific how I am "way off", according to your 17 year old knowledge if you can even be. The 17.

  • @zigyzigy13 ok, maybe it's not everyone who says that you're off, I'm sorry about that, I can't prove it so let's put it aside. About the grammar mistake, english is my 3rd language and I didn't really pay attention to the grammar so don't use the grammar to 'strengthen' your opinion about 17 year olds.. And saying that I am just like any other no sense making teen (the spoiled brat) just becouse I am 17 years old makes you pretty immature. And you didn't use any arguemnts, you just said

  • @zigyzigy13 (continuing) that I am 17 years old and that I don't make sense becouse of that. But you didn't use any arguments to support your opinion about the music. I know staying in tune, but you also know that staying in tune all the time is pretty damn hard to have your intonation perfect and you don't even need to be in tune all the time, like Chickenational said, they are bending notes and playing it with their own style. Why did you even comment about tiny imperfections? If you don't

  • @zigyzigy13 (continuing) like the music, just watch and/or listen to something else and don't start negative conversations in here, you must be pretty bored if you really enjoy doing this.. And taloton is 30 years old and Chikenational 25 and they also disagreed with you. Don't just use my age as an argument.. You also said that the dynamics were all in the same pattern and that that's not supposed to be, why is that, and why can't you bend notes if you personally feel like it sounds better

  • @zigyzigy13 (continuing)that way? There is not a single piece of music that is supposed to be played a certain way. Every single musician has their own style and way of feeling music. And if you know what you are doing (wich they absiously know at this level) you can play sharps and flats higher or lower if you feel like it. It's also a way of expressing yourself. Why don't you just shut up and stop having this pointless conversation? I don't want to put negative stuff below this wonderful piece

  • @SomeAnimeOtaku You wrote a really long comment that I didn't even bother to look at it. I already know what you were gonna say, the amateur 17. Whatever, you wrote, it must be wrong since nd your first commetn preoves it, the 17.

  • @zigyzigy13 Yes! Thanks a lot man! I really appreciate it, I didn't want to continue this super lame conversation either. Although I am pretty sure that you wrote it all and didn't know what to say and are still sticking with the "you're 17, you wouldn't know" argument, I don't care. Have fun wasting the time of your life, I bet you already regret that you didn't do anything during your teenage years and now you're just picking on any other teenager who was smart enough to enjoy their lives

  • @SomeAnimeOtaku Your welcome. Whatever you wrote below, good for you. picking on any other teenager>Ok. Although you are the one who commented on me first, the 17.

  • 1 people will be killed by me.

  • "HAH!"

  • main theme sounded sick

  • Fitting quote describing everything from Chrono Trigger: 'Not the biggest RPG ever, but definately the most beloved'. No less applicable to the soundtrack. This is a magic, heartbreakingly beautiful performance.

  • the violin on the left is tha Real Deal

  • bass is da boss

  • Awwwww i love this! You'd think it is just a piece of music made of a bunch of notes put together... but its more than that, and you can feel it.

  • Fighting pieces get serious when the bass shows up. How awesome

  • Chrono Trigger forever! This should be a soundtrack for new Chrono Trigger games for current consoles!

  • @robertogilnei Oh man I would love a revamped soundtrack by these guys for the new games.

  • I seriously cracked up on the first "HAH!" didn't expect them to actually do it. lol

  • I think this is my favorite orchestra ever

  • Damn you flute! Yet again thy melody doth make mine eyes leak! She does a wonderful job with the Flute. VGO forever! : )

  • God! I'm so nostalgic. This takes me back when I was younger when I've played Chrono Trigger. Very fond memories. Very good memories.

  • Simply breathtaking!

The flute sounded lovely during Yearning of the Wind. <3

    Flute pride, yeye~ n_n

  • HAH!!

  • it's great and they all seem really happy playing it

  • 1:42 - CHILLS!!!

  • ...

Why the fuck are they playing the Millenial Fair theme? Sure, it's nice, but it's one of the weaker, less memorable, FAR LESS EPIC tunes in the game.

  • @JohnWestMinor They probably chose it because it was more suited for their orchestra...

  • @JohnWestMinor It was memorable for me.

  • okay...... so who the hell disliked this?

  • Noo... It is too much epic for me v_v. Even if you are not as good, as a professional musicians like WDR Symphony Orchestra Cologne, the whole idea, involved performers... That's just touching.

  • This is.... AMAZING!

    Love ya guys =3

You made me happy. I love Chrono Trigger

  • Amazing!

  • You guys should seriously think about doing a world tour, just once, I'd definitely pay alot to see a whole concert! Your work is awesome! It's so perfect that it gives me the chills! =D

  • oh i love this clip sooooooooooooooooo much argh i wanna see this live T_T

  • Listening to this got me pretty misty-eyed. Each song in this Medley brings back fond memories of my childhood. The music in these games was way ahead of its time.....

  • Wow amazing people OMG! Thanks!

  • yearnings of the wind was way over pretentious, id rather hear that guy with the beer bottles do it than this

  • OMG OMG OMG!!!!!!

I love EVERYTHING about Chrono Trigger!!! Its everything PERFECT!!!! Hard to find something so great like this masterpiece today. I got chills at 4:27(chrono theme) and on the small piece of Glenn's Theme. Would be soooo nice to have a remake with just textures and sound in HD. GREAT GAME.

  • Goosebumps.

  • The asian girl on violin is so beautiful, god! <3

  • @naodisponivell

I noticed a lot of cute Asian girls in this orchestra

  • @Scioneer playing the flute too! HEHEH!

  • Man, I got chills when they started to play Frog's Theme.

  • Wow, they made Yearnings of the Wind NOT sound annoying. Good job. And a nice medley performance overall.

  • wow loooooooooved this

  • LOL ! I believe that if you put Chrono Trigger fans on that audience's seats...

I bet it will a jungle of Claps and roars!

  • That was FLAWLESS! COME TO SAN FRANCISCO. MAKE IT HAPPEN!

  • This is absolutely gorgeous.

Nearly flawless performance, thank you for this!

  • so many good memories!

  • sexy saxophone :D

    AWESOOOMMMEEEE

  • @shar018 I dunno, I felt the saxophone was a little too soft. Something about it felt kind of off.

  • @dx619hey I agree the sax didnt do it for me

  • fuckin AMAZING YEAHHHHHHHHHHH¡¡¡¡¡

  • The musics of Frog and Chrono are the best for me.

  • i love it!!! It's silmpy amazing

  • i cant point a part where "i like", because everything from Chrono Trigger is a master piece.

  • amazing

  • 楽しそうですねw

  • Comment removed

  • Brought tears to my eyes.

  • I really want to play this now with an orchestra.....

  • Amazing... <3

  • truly amazing
