  • really helpful tutorial. especially how to retract the lens back.. cux i got stuck and didn't know wat to do. thanks

  • you sound just like simon!

  • @seeweed123456 Simon ?

  • @seeweed123456 yes, you know the judge ( simon cowell)

  • @seeweed123456 Oh right :)

  • @seeweed123456 At first his voice remind me Klaus from Vampire Diaries :)

  • Hey, i'm looking into buying this camera and I would like to know what type of construction is this camera made out of? Like some kind of plastic or metal?

  • @nrodri10 It's metal at the front, plastic at the back.

  • I'm thinking of buying this Camera, but not sure.

    1. Is it worth the money?

    2. Can you really take proffesional photographs?

    3. What are the pictures like taken in low light conditions?

    4. Is it good to use when taking pictures of Art work?

    Thanks. lol

  • Did it come with the card, or did you bought it separately?

  • I LOVE UR VIDEOS!!!!! SO INFORMATIVE!!!!

    but ineed some help!

i have the body of the ep-1but not lens what so ever and i have NO IDEA about cameras...... i need the lens thingy....

will this fit onto the body??? opt65.aspx (google it and hit the top one)

    please answer back!!!!!!!

  • @kosy2931 If you select Olympus Four Thirds it will fit with an adapter (extra purchase required). This is micro-four thirds.

  • @davomrmac what extra adapter would i need?

  • @kosy2931 pretty sure it is a OM1 or OM-1 - check the Olympus website for FourThirds to MicroFourThirds adapter.

  • is there any 3rd party devoleper that makes lenses for this camera?

  • @MrPlaystationboy Any micro four thirds lens should fit.

  • @davomrmac thanks

  • so this is basecly a slr whitout a mirror

  • Would this be capable for doing short films? nothing too fast paced.

  • @MrMatticusFynchCH2 Yes, but only up to 1280x720 resolution and you might want to add a SEMA-1.

  • Great review! But I have one question. I am looking to step up from a p&s. I am looking at the epl1 and the canon g12. In terms of quality, creativity, and lo light photos, which would u recommend?

  • @beastyjjp This in my opinion is a nicer camera overall. G12 has slightly better low light performance, but you can't change lenses.

  • what do you suggest Nikon D3100 or this

  • @arrow1archer The E-PL1 or E-PL2.

  • How much is this camera? I know it's somewhere in the 300s I believe..

  • @MermaidSwagger Currently about £450 with 14-42 lens.

  • thanks for these videos

  • Superb review: the black background is the best for seeing everything; speaking slowly allows for absorption of your remarks; using simple and clear language instead of industry techno-speak is also appreciated, and last but certainly not least, your review is even-handed and fair - not easy to do!

  • @Urbino237 Thanks for that.

  • do you recommend this camera? i will use it for personal use, and obviously to have better photo quality

  • @Caripukis It is a really great camera and very portable.

  • It's SLR correct?

  • @RyanLinVideos Well sort of, micro four thirds.

  • @RyanLinVideos no, it doesnt have a mirror. but a mirror is not an indication of picture quality, the lenses and sensors are. this camera has a smaller sensor compared to most dSLR cameras.

  • is there manual focus with the lens that comes with it?

  • @ShowCaseProductions Yes there is.

  • it got a F-HD recording resolution?!

  • @MMakerAL 1280x720 is the highest res for video.

  • that camera looks so beautiful and compact, and it looks very easy to love :) i'm going to buy this camera, thank you for the review

  • @curtismichael14 Thanks for your kind comment.

  • @ 7:30 you mention the front element is protected a little bit when the lens is in its parked postition. The lens cap protects the front element!!.....boring review

  • Thank you for the detailed review. Exactly what I was looking for.

  • @AmyT000 Glad it helped. Check my channel for plenty of other E-PL1 videos.

  • Great review.

  • I like that the videos are in-depth

  • You can say all these things in half the time. We don't have time to waste, please do a bit more condensed reviews!!

  • @john3427 if you didn't have time to waste you wouldn't be on youtube lol. I like the concise reviews to be honest

  • There are quite a few different makes of hot shoe flashes, providing the camera has a minijack mic port for connectivity.
