  • @jackb1211

Glow in the dark paint, and a light in the fake roller

  • adobe afte affects ??

  • alll in the timing

  • that was gay like monkeys

  • I want what he's smoking

  • Blueee rayy

  • I don't have any idea what this is, but it sure is AWESOME! :D

  • i want one

  • thats radium paint and a ultra vilot light... veryyyy old radium paint ...maybe tritium cuz radium is rare...? and slightly radioactive..

  • wass that michael jackson but that wass awesome how did you do that

  • nice

  • Dodge the lasers to get to the pixel roller YAY its worth it! Caution the lasers will kill you.

  • the lasers kill you

  • wow... i love that thing.. i want to do it on my wall..

love that stevie wonder on the background...

  • It's a high power UV light, or maybe an IR emmiter. Not a paint roller. The image was painted with florescent paint. So, while he charged the glow in the dark paint with the light, it gave the illusion that he was painting it. When all he's doing is charging the paint and making it glow.

  • @TheMizfitMan Phosphorescent. Whatever it's called, I can't remember.

  • @TheMizfitMan its floresent

  • whoa!!!!!!!

  • f'n bad ass!!!! btw, does anyone know the name of that smooth ass song playing in the background?

  • holy....., my weed must be really strong this time...

  • man this guy is on some fucking drugs

  • I'm guessing an acellerometer to detect the brush's position on the board, fed to a computer which then controls UV LEDs which are positioned in a row underneath the brush. by only activating certain LEDs at a time as the brush is moved, the difference between the black and light spots can be made.

  • @iluvsaphira9 nah its just phosphorescent paint with a UV light as the "roller" i did the same thing to the door to my room

  • wtf?

  • MAGIC on the board :D

  • They person on the walls Michael Jackson :o

  • its easy

yust buy yourself an pot of fluorizing paint and grab a laser and shine on it

  • beamer ftw

  • nice job XXDDDD

  • wtf is this shit?

  • They have the picture projected on the wall in UV, and the roller has glow in the dark paint on it.

  • It's the opposite. UV leds are in the fake roller, and the picture was stenciled on the wall with UV paint.

  • good try but no. the wall is actually glow in the dark and the roller has light in it. good try though next time analyze things properly.

  • @Exhume2Consume stfu you're probs wrong

  • Zinc Sulfide is the magic you need. Is sensitive to UV light and will glow green for a breif time. You can use UV leds to achieve 'pixels'

  • thats beutiful :O !!

  • looks like jackson!

  • lol yeah i was thinkin the same thing

  • wow!

  • wtf! that is sic! how did you do that??

  • One way may be to use the non-toxic liquid from inside of the emergency glow sticks and some how either mix it in a bit of paint or something because by itself it's a bit oily. That would be my guess.

  • its a face :)

  • Electric roller the board had points on it so when he did it it became a face i have one just not that wall.

  • wtf?

  • goooood

  • Thats awsome

  • I think I figured it out. See the cord coming out of the roller. The roller must have a UV light source in it with holes on the roller so the light can pass through. The wall just has glow in the dark paint on it. You can get it at walmart.

  • Seems about right. I've never heard of glow-in-the-dark paint, though. I should get some and paint things on my wall with it! Then I can have a party and have a black light. That would be so badass!

  • glow-in-the-dark paint realy exist.

but i never saw it for a roll xD

i just know it from my airbrush...

you can get nearly every neon color in glowing version...

so its perfect for creating nice glow-in-the-dark pictures

  • molotow spray paint.

they have glow in the dark paint.

although 16$ for a 400ml can is pricey,

    well worth it.

    -core423

  • niceee umm explination plix??

  • Ok what are thoes tiles made of and how do the work. There deff. Light sensitive. Right??

  • is this digitally edited?

  • shit

  • it was a response to someones comment on a goddamn video, stfu.

  • u suck cock

  • HOW COULD YOU SAY THAT! Wow what a shame look around! Look I bet you'd see some graffiti! If graffiti is dead then what's alive??? 7=I

  • He's not very good at paining that wall their now is he lol ^_^

  • Yeah, you gotta trim in the corners first before rolling the wall!

  • actually; it's pendulums with uv lights on the end.

  • does anyone know where this is from ?? who designed it ? wrote the software ? built the hardware ?

  • WTF?

  • roll abit faster?

  • saw this on ARTE

  • looks like mj

  • dat is AWSOME better than the one that says graffiti robot??

  • in that i see mj aaand it looks like a little boy with jesus juice in his hand lol

no diss to him but it does

  • yea i see MJ too!

    crazy shit

  • And a child abuser.

  • and god

  • the lazer pic. looks like an ordinary girl not like michael jackson

  • the lazer pic. looks like an ordinary girl not like michael jackson

  • wtf?

  • loney mother fuckr

  • that was fuckin awesome

    how did he do that?

  • @jackb1211 something like inferred or ultra violet projections and water on the roller or some uv sensitive liquid x

  • @jackb1211 in facts it's pretty easy. u know those light saving things like little stars or e.g. for children's room? the wall is the same material and his "roll" is like a bulb

  • not cool...realy grafiti rules micheal jackson is scary

  • why did it have to be Micheal Jackson?

  • He laszerd it then with computer he did some shit and he got this COOL MAN!!!

  • WOW!

  • the image needs to last longer

  • SOBER1

    FTS

    F*** THE SYSTEM

    509 OA!

  • couldn't be michael jackson this one has a nose ^^

  • lol

  • I dunno, sure it was Michael Jackson? I thought that at first, but then now it just looks like an ordinary girl.

  • omg micheal jackson1

  • i want a room like that in my house

  • That's cool. I like the music in the background too.

  • whats up with the lasers going in circles but those are still cool

  • the coolest part was the twirling blue laser pendulums, and that wasn't all that cool.

  • i think that it's a wall laminate that has phosphors in it. Anytime light hits the wall it is absorbed by the phosphors and it emits a glow. We have something similar at the McWane Science Center where I work.

  • It's not like that.

  • wow this is soo amazing!!!!!!!!! WoW!!!!!!!WoW !!!!! INCREDABLE WOW!!!!!!! how did this guy get glow in the dark paint WOWeee.

  • michael jackson is the shit. stop hating.

  • yeah i totally agree dude he is shit

  • someone here was molested by jacko wacko i think

  • Why would you paint MIchael JAckson on your wall?

  • lol, exactly what i was thinking

  • Ah jeez. Did you see the lasers? o.O

  • its glow in the dark wall paper.

  • whats the title of the song in the background

  • Stevie Wonder!

  • thats ur mommy

  • thats lame and it's Michael Jackson on the wall

  • ...

  • im not immpressed

  • that would be an awesome set up for a gallery

  • lol, u guys are such nubs, at the beggining you can see that he has a Utra Voilet light and he is just running it under neath a glow in the dark picture. And btw, you suck at wistling.

  • That wouldn't really make sense seeming as the picture slowly fades from where hes been running the roller... its more likely he is using the program Jitter which can be used for experimental digital art like this.

  • you are cool

  • its like a glow in the drak paint and its a roller that has a design on it that just tranfers it to the paper [:

    im so smart!

  • how did you do that

  • I LIKE THE THINGS THAT SPIN ON THE ROOF!

  • ohh... so he's just waving a UV light over an image that's already there. I get it.

  • hay

  • nice alternative piece of art... should make movies like that lol

  • thats too cool dude

    keep up the good work

  • what's with the rave lights?

  • pretty neat. It's done with a computer program and a projector, for all of you fucktards that yell fake without knowing exactly what it is he's doing here.

Go look at Graffiti Research Labs. They do similar stuff on a much bigger scale.

  • that...was amazing..

  • The laser effect looks more like the Stylus Streamlight Flashlight hanging on the end of the strings over some of that light sensitive paper. It is a cool effect. THey have those lights on ebay in all different colors. Im not sure thats exactly what it is but thats what it looks like.

  • this will revoluitonize the art industry. im sad now cause i can draw real good. to have that taken away from me makes it hard to create. id like to use that when i have the flu, and can't use a pencil or a f'in paint brush like im supposed to. peace. save the pen stroke.

  • LOL this will not revolutionize the art industry. This is just a consumer product, all they are doing is coping an image onto a surface. They didn't create it themselves. It's kinda nifty, but overall kinda useless as an art "tool." (unless it of course leads to other creations.) It's just like a giant printout or poster.

  • I think that it is great art. The art is as much in the fact that it was designed and created as in the use of it.

  • yeah im sorry but these definitely isnt revolutionizing art in any way. maybe the way it is presented but thats about it. it's just a printer...

  • I think that the way art is presented IS an artform. Many of the famous great artists seemed to think so.

  • This is true also, in the way it is presented, but when it becomes common place for anyone to "print" an image on their wall, it's no different than someone printing and having a portrait or picture, framed/mated, hung. It's just another form of home decoration if used this way. (arguably this is interior design an art form, etc, etc) If used in this manner, than its nothing more than consumer product, then they'll have to raise the bar and do something original and unique with it.

  • is this a product that is being sold? I thought it was an original creation.

  • lol the thing he's using is featured on the front page of youtube.

  • i just got how that works! theres a projector that is in the market that projects this light only visible on a certain surface, or a special paint, i.e the paint he is using is clear, and allows the hidden projection to be seen

  • wrong, sry but thats not how he does it, you can tell by looking at the roller. the roller itself isnt turning. what he did was paint clear uv paint on the wall (glowing the dark paint...) in the pattern he wanted. then the roller is just a uv lamp and as he moves over it, its makes the paint glow. like those papers on the floor, theres a uv beam shinning on it to make those oval patterns.

  • that is michael jackson lol

  • i thought it was Yoko Ono

  • lol yoko ono hehehehe

  • hi x

  • haha, i thought it was micheal jackson too.

  • you cheaters

  • omg that micheal jackson

  • OOPS. I didn't notice something before! It uses a blacklight in the roller, so it's not using paint. Sorrrry! Oh well. I tihnk it's just special paper...

  • ...it's a regular paint roller with glow- in- the- dark paint. Possibly Blacklight because of the lasers all around the room....

  • my son has a toy like this, but it's just a flash light pen..and he can write on the special glow in the dark paper..you can also cause the pen to make a flash leaving your shadow as the image on the paper too. It's fun. ;]

This looks like something similar, but probably with a projector that beamed a larger image onto the paper, and then he added light from the roller to bring it back out. ..[shrugs]

  • adds a whole new dimension to the term "pen light"

  • Michael Jackson!

  • lmfao thats exactly what i thought.

  • definatly fake!!!! he doesnt once put his roller in the paint tray, oh soooooooo obvious, derrrr!!!!

  • i want lasers

  • you retard, he doesnt have to. its mechanically processed to create an image that you want

  • Nice choice in music. :)

  • Boy, do you live in one goofy place...

  • o dear its MJ

  • |_ /-\ Z 3 ®

  • i want one of those lasers!

  • i like those lasser!!

  • ahh..once real artists were of value :(

  • no offence to anyone...

SCREW THE PAINTING I WANT THOSE LASER !!!

  • yeah, the lasers are awesome....

  • Did this inspire the pixel roller that uses paint? This is from 2 years ago

  • Yes it did- or the other way round...they are pretty much sibling projects, one printing our digital information with light, the other printing with real ink / paint.
