@megatwingo Thank you Ingo for that, Yes we do have boards / indicators, They are 'SW'' = sound whistle or just plain 'W' = whistle. In a future 'fueherstandfahrt' I will try an include one but I'm sure there is one in both these 2 vids protecting the same foot crossing.
Personally I find Cab Ride's incredibly interesting. You learn exactly about the sorts of things the drivers cope with every journey, and I quite like re-enacting them in virtual means!
And I am one of them, my upbringing was of travelling in class 117's on the Western Region and watching the driver at work through the partition glass.

Like you know, we have in Germany the "P" signs for "Pfeiffen" (whistling).
Do you have something similar in Britain to show the engineers when to whistle?
