Interesting idea with the beach balls, love seeing how people make movies, it's a bit like discovering the secrets of a magic trick. funny idea with the silly spray for the monster goo, looks like it's fun to use.
It's cool that you were able to get several youtubers in that movie, that's a smart idea, get people who genuinely like film, and won't charge you too much.
Yeah that song was one of the best parts, good montage at the end. :) I kinda like the crooked worms, more realistic.
I really liked Uprising. I had a hunch you guys were using fishing line to move the worms, but I didn't know because you absolutely could not see the line in the film. I didn't realize the worm was made of different sized beach balls either. I knew you used something of the like, but I figured a beach ball would pop first go. How many did you pop while making the video? Are you still considering doing a Halloween movie?
Loved it. If fact, when I first saw the worm, you did such a good job of hiding the string that I was thinking that maybe it was remote controlled or something. XD
It's one of those films that leaves a lasting impression. I found myself thinking about it weeks later and still talking about it. I still need to get it on DVD. I love little films like that, that manage to make a big impact with a tiny budget. It's all about the story and the characters.
check out "inside"...creepy foreign film...90% takes place inside a house...never boring, horrifying effects, very gory...the last shot of the film is unforgettable.
I think you made a good decision on the shot selection and video style regarding the worm-things. Those outtakes make it look like they had a big ass kegger before their rampage/invasion.

These kinds of projects are super fun and very useful in terms of the many things you learn during the process. I loved Uprising.
