What was so horrible? The mother was concerned about her milk not coming in. The doctor was explaining that the baby feeding (breast stimulation) is was encourages milk production. She mentioned pumping to the mom to address her concern about milk production; babies fall asleep at the breast a lot the first days which could hinder milk production.

@shantrues i agree, the advice was not at all horrible, it was good advice.

This girl needs to get some education on breastfeeding before giving advise. This was terrible and misleading.

it is not true that you need to pump! your milk will come in when its supposed to! your baby needs the colostrum!
