the forsaken starting zone has always seemed the best to me. Going all the way back to vanilla, this starting zone has had a lot more character to it than any other; not to mention, out of all the zones this is the only one where your character's sudden appearance in it actually makes some amount of sense.

Forsaken lv. 1 - 25 experience is definatly my favorite WoW leveling experience, and one of my favorite experiences in general. It´s just so great. Loved every minute of it. Those first 25 levels never passed so quickly before.

My friend led me to believe (When I was about 10) that WoW had no story and that the game was basically KILL LEVEL UP REPEAT, But I hope I can find more story in WoW. This guy, CynicalBrit, seems to find that too : )

@Fineneoghostx2 I'm afraid that's simply not true. Don't get me wrong, WoW (and the Warcraft franchise in general) as some great lore and huge amounts of it.

But WoW falls flat in the face of Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons by a loooong distance. Their respective MMO's benefit from this too; their franchises have lores that eclipse Warcraft's by quite a bit. Again, not to say that Warcraft's lore is bad, but it isn't the largest or most impressive in the genre.

i played in the tauren and undead starting zones and i kept dyeing and when i died it was 1000 yards to my body it was so annoying they need to make more graveyards next to the starting zones cause thats where i die the most and when new players die the most too.

In the old tirisfal when i first started playing there was a quest to talk to the montague undead standing around the exit of deathknell, who would challenge you to a duel. is it just me or did i make this quest up and convinced myself it existed at one time? i played the undead zone before it was replaced with the newer one but did not get this quest and im kinda confused.

@mth31216 there was a quest around the exit spot where you would be asked to talk to the inn keeper or something (been a while)... if you went back you'd be able to talk to him, and you'd duel/fight him because he had fooled you or something along those lines. you'd win and he'd apologize or w/e.

Valdred Moray is from a low level quest where you have to kill him for a revenge cause he killed the quest givers wife. You get Deliah's ring (Ring of Scorn) from the quest its pretty interesting chain.
