Well Camper are going in yay, Ben Sherman, Rockport, Blooms, Coach, French Connection and Seed, Lee Jeans. But we will see come April, I just hope they get in other names as well.
You can look in and see from Queen Street Mall the layout for stage one. It is good as it reminds one of Mid City in Sydney. What is not good are the shops. Same old same old - Shades, Wayne Cooper, RM Williams, Fossel, Carla Zampatti -BORING. Where are Glue? Camper? - its going to be crap and Brisbane has lost name brands like Seed, Bettina Laiano and Belinda, so why not go after the ones that are not here. I don't hold much hope. Why do we need a new Rodd and Gunn store??????????? pathetic.
I wonder if we will get some decent retailers i.e. Jimmy Choo, Gucci, Prada, Burburry, Chanel, and various other Sydney/Melbourne stores especially Dangerfield. Calibre and Glue, or if two bit boring stores will move in because Brisbane despite having Sass and Bide, Tiff and Co and soon Hermes is still considered backward - by backward people mostly. Develop it but please some NAME stores not boring two bit stores no one in Sydney has heard of
it's always a pleasure watching your videos. It's amazing to see how fast Brisbane is growing. Btw, are they finally starting building the Trilogy Tower?
@patrickponfe Brisbane is not really growing THAT fast...
This project pales in comparison to the billions being spent in Sydney (Westfield Sydney, Barangaroo, Mid City Centre, Central Park) and Melbourne (recently completed Chadstone and Doncaster shopping centre upgrades, Crown Casino, Myer, David Jones and Emporium Melbourne)
This will be a nice addition to the mall, but I don't see it matching QueensPlaza as THE place to shop.
