Jo Brind did an excellent job with this. He certainly made The Standard Music Venue look like a warm and friendly place. Unfortunately in later years it wasn't. A real shame and as the venue is going in December another real lose to the local music scene. Perhaps if there hadn't been for the uncertainty around 2003 with the road widening scheme which never happened, maybe it could have continued to be great asset to local bands and others?
