  • Only king was allowed to kill king,...WOW EPIC

  • and i thougt i knew alot about my home land! well i don't...

  • Love and friendship from the Italian people :)

  • I am iranian and I proudly say: Fuck islam. Gtfo already.

  • Darius III alone shouldn't be blamed for the downfall of the Persian Empire. We must consider the policies of his predecessors. After Xerxes's death, mercenaries formed almost 40% of the Persian army. Those mercs were unreliable in times of crises. Development of military equipment, strategies and tactics was neglected. The empire was also in an awkward economic situation, thanks to the revolts in some of it's controlled territories. All these factors paved the way for the Alexandrian invasion.

  • The narrator took quite an argumentative tone in this doc

  • Thanks for the vid.....no wonder the Iranians look at us (West) and laugh when our leaders try to tell them what to do...I'd also laugh at us if I was from there.

  • @fitzrapid fag

  • I'm Norwegian and i love my Norse culture and the other western and eastern cultures. My wife is from northern Pakistan/Afghanistan and she loves and even envy's my culture and i have had to spend so long trying to get her to love her ancient culture and where she comes from because of fucking Islam. The abrahamic religions need to die

  • hell,Im swedish and Im more fascinated by eastern culture than the nordic one

  • Persian empire meant Empire of tolerance, that is what Islam means today, we have different kinds of people interpreting what that was,

Alexander, I don't think he was ever great. He only destroyed, he never had anything that would be remembered...

Until I actually researched Persian Empire, I didn't know about Alexander....

  • @trazenn ALEXANDER THE GREAT-Александър Велики-ALEXANDRE LE GRAND-ALEXANDER DER GROSSE-אלכסנדר הגדול-アレキサンダー大王-亚历山大大帝-Aleksandrs Lielais-ALEXANDER DE GROTE-Nagy Sándor-ОЛЕКСАНДР ВЕЛИКИЙ-اسکندر بزرگ-АЛЕКСАНДР ВЕЛИКИЙ-Алекандер Тхе Греат-பேரரசன் அலெக்சாந்தர்-Büyük İskender-Aleksanteri Suuri-الإسكندر الأكبر !!!!

His name exists in every language in erth! You chose one,copy-paste in google and open your eyes. For a man in your age,you do not know many!

  • And then BUNCH OF ARABS CAME AND TOOK OVER MMM,,WHAT AN EMPIRE

  • What does it matter what Country, Faiths, Race, and Sex you are? It is the History of what ALL of The Ancient Empires achieved!! It is a lesson we ALL need to learn.. No matter how "Great" a Country you are. How long will you last? The rate which we are going now, not that much longer.. There is STILL tooo much hate in the World for other Countries, Faiths, Race, and Sex. Acceptance of ALL Humanity is what has too be achieved..

  • @famemonster1993 No!That's the easiest excuse and you know it!Since when did Westerneres really admire the Greeks? They are jealous of them just as jealous the are of Persia.Which are these political reasons?Tell me one.

  • @famemonster1993 Ω=Basicly, the mother of Medicine is China.I didn't say that the Persians are not great. They just had this disadvantage. The Persian empire was by far the richest empire of these eras.Isn't that something they were better at than the Greeks? For example the Greeks had the disadvantage of fighting each other but i insist on what i said bofore.

  • @mustafahotaki That's write but not bad.Greece was separated in city-states which had their own army, leaders etc.The word "empire" which stems from the Latin word "imperator".The emperor, is the source of power. He is everything.General, governor, religious leader etc.Greece was not this.Greece had dimocracy (no certain leader)Citizens rule the city.

  • In tyrany lies only failure.

  • 3:35 Darius the Turd

  • Alexander at the end wanted to unite the hellenic culture and the persian culture. Too bad he died so young.

  • Even Alexander was melted by the grace of Persian Empire.

  • @17iran It was his strategy to look friendly to the Persians. He wanted to unite 2 worlds! Not easy! That's why he married Roxanne (Persian). You think you are great OMG!

  • well alexander defeated the achamanid empire not the persians the greeks got their asses kick by Iranian parthians and the romans.

and please don't speak about the arbs history cause they don't have any history the runaround in deserds as nomads and eat lezards whole they life.

  • @persian802 NO MY FRIEND!You are wrong!I'm Greek but i know that the Arabs developed science, astrology (found the distance of Earth-Moon),maths(indish numbering system),geography(long trips),medicine(surgeries)and literature.

  • Hail Alexander, King of Greece

  • @MetallicThor Yes your right, but thats the fate of all empires in the world.

  • @mustafahotaki LMAO

  • @mustafahotaki FINE! Alexander's Empire, are you happy now?

  • We can consider ourselves all we want about where we hail from today but our ancestry over the period of time since ancient civilizations has been an adaptation. So basically in respects, none of us are "Sons" of any of these ancient civilizations but results of modern ones that were results of previous ones and so on.

  • All the great people in history, were never sons of great civilizations, they were creators of it.

  • @superhamzah85 Very good point!

  • @superhamzah85 Nice!!!

  • The Greeks had better technology, architecture, and... well... everything.

  • where is the islamic empire in all this ?

  • @rayyantube Islamic Empire is shit, i take a SHIT on allah, koran, muhammad and all tazi arab piece of shits.

  • So Persia was destroyed by Alexander the great, long before Islam, interesting. I am so use to hearing how Islam destroyed the great Persian Empire.

  • @Abasss23 He destroyed the first Persian empire, but Persia came back even stonger under Parthians and Sassanids. No body was able to destroy persia, not even islam nor Genghis khan. Persia is alive and will be alive.

  • @ejdeha995 persia still has a long history of getting its ass kicked. and islam did destroy persia.

  • @jungleman68 Lol, enlighten us, I'm not really sure if I understand? As far as I understand, there used to be an empire of tolerance and human understanding and on top of all things, Darius and Cyrus the great had built things and made a democracy that ordinary people like me and maybe even u enjoy today...

  • @trazenn it was not a democracy

despite lasting so long, it has a huge track record of getting its ass kicked. in other words, persia's military sucked.

  • @jungleman68 Their military was actually quite advanced, due mainly to its extreme mobility. There was a reason that the Persian empire rose in the first place, it had a great and well led army. Subsequent "Persian" armies under the Parthians, the Sassanids, and beyond were also very successful in the long run...

  • @ejdeha995 mongols sized persia after they took over large parts of china, compleatly once and for all ending the greatness persia had been reessembled tooi belive they did this in the 13th centuary but islam had weakend it since the 7th centuary along with crusades, now mr.ahimidejihad has left an islamis type of communism.

  • @ejdeha995 Islam didn't come to the great Persian Empire to destroy it. Islam is only a religion, but some people used Islam for their personal interests. The Persian nation is still one of the most civilized nation in the earth.

  • @mhmmdalsaleh Thank you.

  • @ejdeha995 Islam and the Ottoman empire swallowed you alive. It's over.

  • @iparra393 Could you explain your comment for me please, I didn't get and Idon't think any bpdy else got it either. I'm being sarcastic by the way! I know you didn't get it. Thank you!!!

  • @ejdeha995 Parthians may have been a iranian tribe but they weren't persians.

  • @ejdeha995 Even right now persia is fighting in Iran itself :(

  • This is certainly interesting, but I like the Byzantines better.

  • As I a Greek, let me apologize to our Persian friends for Alexander's burning of Persopolis.... That was very barbaric.

  • @AVIATIO thank you

  • i don't think any of the buildings were handicap accessible

  • So sad that the Iranians have to follow islam. There is no future in Islam, I hope they can see that and once again prosper.

  • lol the costumes and acting in the documentary is just awesome.

  • I always did like this series on the history channel. Sadly it was limited to a mere ten or so episodes. Thanks for uploading it. I havent seen this in some time.

  • WIFE BASHER LOLOLOLO

  • I actually liked the Parthians best!

  • Hey now, I am a "westerner". A proud Italians, a proud son of Rome. BUT I do take interest in eastern culture too. So dont get the idea that all westerners hate easterners, their history/culture, or ways. I always said that I liked the Persian Empire better than the greek empire!

  • @Peidmonte89 Now, let me tell you why we, the Greeks, are superior towards the Persians.Of course thry were not stupid. They developed art, architecture etc.BUT!Greeks were able to control their feelings.Their anger, their passions, something Persians didn;t do.And i would also like to say that Greece as not an empire. It was separated in city-states as you know. The title "imperator" is Latin.

  • @koskinas97 Oh you guys were able to control your feelings... is that why they had a bunch of gays? lol

  • @nimkal Whatch your mouth gypsie barbarian savage. We control our reactions, that's why we didn't have the Sartans cut the head of your "soldiers".Look who is talking about gays. The ones who use archers to kill enemies that do not have any.We laugh at your Persian hordes. The Spartans didn't have archers because they were real fighters.

  • The unique thing about Persians is they were never colonized & fully defeated. Even after Alexander & the defeat of Achaemenids they raised again only under a different family (Dynasty). The Parthians, Sassanids & all the ones coming in future were all Persians. In fact Persia was renamed to Iran in 1935 (One of stupidest moves in the history by the way).

  • Just like the Achaemenids that were ended by the Greeks, the Sassanids were ended by the Byzantine Greeks, the arabs finished them off and Persia was conquered by the sword of Islam a decade after. Persia vs Greece in war has the usual outcome of a Greek victory. Ever notice that?

  • @NicephorusAetius - yes barbarians usually do conquer the civilized, then become civil themselves. Look at the Mongolians and their history. :) Ever notice that?

  • Byzantine empire was a Roman empire during the Sassanids era so plz go and read history and see that Persia actually kicked Byzantine's empire's ass and made their emperor to kneel down before the Persian king. Besides, if u really believe Herodotus's accounts of the Persian wars, then u should be extremly naive. he says Persians were in millions and Greeks in hundreds, yet greeks won...I mean even 1 million of monekys would win over hundreds of men.

  • @Alanadoredor No one with a mind believes any of Herodotus' ridiculous figures, for various reasons. The Greeks were in the tens of thousands, not hundreds. At Thermopylae alone there were anywhere from 7 to 10 thousand Greeks guarding that narrow pass. The Greeks still lost...

  • @NicephorusAetius

Nope Byzantium did not end the Sassanid dynasty. At the time of the Arab invasions, Byzantium and Sassanid had basically returned to their borders before the war. Sassanids had taken Syria but the Eastern Roman Empire reclaimed them and then the Arabs began invading.

  • @DinoCorleone -- Persia was ALWAYS called Iran (meaning land of the Aryans) by the local inhabitants of Persia that lived on todays modern Iran.

  • @Axcendar

European's true domination only began in the 18th-19th century till the 20th century(lets say it went down hill after WW II)

No one is saying Europe dominated all the time. No one has ever dominated as much as the Europeans have however.

Greece and Rome were also super powers of course, but they also had super power enemies like Persia and Parthia(which actually is Persia, but w/e)

During the 15th-18th century the Ottoman empire was also equal to European super powers.

  • @papagam

Roman empire HAD Greece and thus also it's culture.

In the eastern part of the Roman empire the official language was Greek. All the aristocrats in Rome talked mostly Greek because they thought that Latin was too low.

All I know is that in a full out battle between Rome and Parthia, Rome would win. However weakening it badly, so it wouldn't be worth it.

Better army? That's a big assumption you make there. Sure Romans feared the Parthian army, but Parthians also feared the Roman army.

  • @soulripper31

This simply does not make that much sense. It is full of errors, misunderstandings, and overly simplistic views of the time period. Seriously, doesnt make much sense.

  • @immortal117

Saying something doesn't make sense without saying why doesn't make sense. Go study history and then come back.

  • Enough of fratricidal wars.

    Enough of Whites killing Whites.

    Enough!

    Imperium Europa:

The Book that Changed the World.

    Amazon Books.

  • @NormanLowell whites killing whites?

What world do you live on?

  • @NormanLowell Yeaaaa that'll do a lot of good, legalize marijuana in the whole of europe, with a racist political leader that describes Hitler as a hero and believes that the Holocaust never happened...hmmmmmm

  • @canndc

But Hitler WAS a Hero. To 99.9999 of the German People. To millions of other Europeans, Latin Americans, etc., And the HolyHoax never happened - it is the biggest lie since the virgin mary. A lie invented by a marauding tribe of murderers, swindlers, whose 4,000 year history is a chronicle of lies and deceit.

  • Persopolis was burnet because the Greeks didn't find the Gold that Dariush the 3rd had indicated in his letter to Alexander.

Alexander was invited to Persia to help the people against corruption & opperession of the last kings.

Shahname or book of kings by the epic poet Ferdosi has about 2600 verses in praise of Alexander.

Dariush 3rd's court was a place of bribray & mischief. Persian Empire collapsed because of corruption at the end. Although sad, some Iranians name their kids, eskandar

  • Excellent point. But, really, isn't that what ultimately destroys every Empire?

(ahem-America-ahem) Sorry, a little cough there...

  • Seriously. Crime has never been as fun since that Robocop guy has been around. Oh well, back to my cut-off jeans and rad hair.

  • Fuck robocop, cut-off jeans, and yer "rad hair".

  • btw way perusperiaate5, persia did last for 2700 years. it continues as this country called Iran. i dont know if u've never heard of it before, or if ur just retarded, but Iran is still called by Persia by some ppl

  • @Video1355

Iran is now a country, not an empire.Persia was an empire.

  • This series is pretty tacky and often very wrong. Any way how do they justify 'an empire that lasted 2700 years'? The Achaemenid empire lasted only 180 years. The Medes, who were Iranian Indo-Europeans, ruled before that; however, they were not Persians. Their empire was only in Asia and lasted a little over 100 years. The Elamites ruled in parts of today's Iran before the Persians. Yet the Elamites were not even Indo-European.

  • Just FYI:

The Mausoleum in Halicarnassus (one of the 7 wonders of the Ancient World) was designed by Greek architects: Satyros and Pythis.

It was adorned with sculptural reliefs by Greek sculptors: Leochares, Bryaxis, Scopas of Paros and Timotheus.

  • 2:31 are those some devil horns i see?

  • @kryptilian oh wow what the hell!

  • Kill, Kill, Kill who cares.

The key fact is that Persia started the fight and its still raging.

  • Many people, including myself ,know very little about the history of that part of the world, so i think that this documentary is good in that it outlines the subject. But you are right that it is misleading in as much as it ends with Alexander.

  • This documentary is showing the fall of this particular dynasty. Alexander ended that dynasty. It even says he joined the empires, not destoryed or created.

  • Ok, it's a logical, and dramatic, place to end the story but it makes it look like Helenic conquest was somehow lasting, which i believe was far from the case. I think it's a typical example of such short docus having to over simplify and dramatise events.

  • Sure is. Alexander took over the empire, he didn't create anything. But its still quite an accomplishment. Then died quickly after.

Just another Cobain syndrome. Die young, stay immortal.

  • Yes, that's true, and in it's way it is a natural place to finish. Shame these documentaries are so short, otherwise they would have time to talk about what came after.

  • Yeah, can't tell much in an hour. But this is about the Persians, not the Greeks.

  • Yes, i agree about that. In the end these are all fascinating documentaries, and give a good start to people who maybe want to learn more, thanks go to the poster.

  • @basslicker420

Well he did create many new cities in Persia.

Guess how he called the cities? xD

  • What has been will be again, what has been done will be done again; there is nothing new under the sun.

  • I believe its time for a new empire to rise.

  • Everything is stolen from somehwere

  • "borrowed", they didnt go there and take the buildings.

  • The Tomb of Mausolus, Mausoleum of Mausolus or Mausoleum at Halicarnassus (in Greek, Μαυσωλεῖον της Ἁλικαρνασσοῦ) was a tomb built between 353 and 350 BC at Halicarnassus (present Bodrum, Turkey) for Mausolus, a Greek satrap in the Persian Empire, and Artemisia II of Caria, his wife and sister. The structure was designed by the Greek architects Satyros and Pythis.

  • It stood approximately 45 meters (135 ft) in height, and each of the four sides was adorned with sculptural reliefs created by each one of four Greek sculptors — Leochares, Bryaxis, Scopas of Paros and Timotheus. The finished structure was considered to be such an aesthetic triumph that Antipater of Sidon identified it as one of his Seven Wonders of the Ancient World.

  • Who said you were Greeks?...The kings only were of Greek origins !

  • damn, mad respect for persia...now when i hear the word grand i'll think of not only ancient greece and rome but also persia

  • Glorious History, who cares about opinions...simply great!

  • u dare insult the greatest person to ever live Tristan129. U will die a horrible death. If it wasent for alexander the west would of never of become rich nor the east ever become educated. Its not his fault that the aftermath of his death lead to the down fall of the middle east into the backward water it is today. If things would of happened more possitive the middle east would be the most advance in the known world.

  • Ahahaha oh wow. You're lack of grammar and your own little capitalistic ignorance make me lol.

  • You insult the grammar and then use 'lol', not THAT'S funny!

  • (1) While I understand the patriotic feelings of my Persian brothers, I ask you to take a look at the challenges our nation is facing today. Did you know the Islamic Republic has had plans, for years now, to build a dam in Shiraz which would engulf the tomb of Cyrus under water for ever? As if in their hatred, they want to erase all of our Persian history. At the very least, the Greeks & the Italians dont have these challenges before them where their nations are at the mercy of those who

  • please don't remind me about that fucking dam!

  • @k1pourang I don't think that the Iranian government would consider the dam if they had a sufficient tourism industry. The fleeting tourism in Iran probably has something to do with the oppressive nature of it, few women like to go to a place where they have to wear a veil.

  • (2)mercy of those who want to eradicate their legacies & turn them into Arab states. When I see Greeks or Italians, I see people who are uniquely tied to us. Our nations helped give rise to modern human civilization & we should respect & acknowledge one-another instead of try to prove who was better than the other some 25 centuries ago. High marks to the History channel for Engineering an Empire I enjoyed all of them especially the Roman, Greek, and of course, my beloved Persian series.

  • DUDE europe has alot of arab problems right now.

  • Yup, Eskander for Alex the asshole. I just asked the neighbour of mine who happens to be a Persian scholar who wandered out of Iran last year.

  • The name of Alexander in Persian is Macedonian Alexander = Eskandar Maghdouni.

Persians are so humble people! They not only accepted Alexander but also other conquers such as Mohammad and his Islam. Thats showing their tolerance.

  • Well, from what I heard from the Persians themself, they never liked Alexander. Mostly because he destoryed Persepolis and its library. Meaning eredicating their national and literatural identity.

If I hear that from MANY of them, I must come to conlcusion there is nothing great in Alexander. You also saw his history. He enslaved people just out of arbitrary. And he meant he was like Kyros and Darius.

A lowsy arrogant brat idealized by the West. Nothing more. And nothing less...wait,maybe less

  • I dont know how high/low educated you are. To study history demands more than just opinions of the mobs.

When you build your conclusions based on some Persians, presumably low educated ones, then I have no more to add. Sorry!

  • hahaha, are you that stupid? Learning history is not just about reading from some books. The Greek records are really biased towards Alex, and we have no Persian records which stated they approved him.

I only accepted one opinion of the ''mob'' because it gives me a different perspective towards the biased teachings in school about Greek history. Have not you learned about Diadochi empires how the population fought for freedom right after his death? You have to learn the opinions of others too.

  • After the revolution in Iran, something exactly opposite than before happened. Before the great kings were rightfully glorified but because this Islamic government was against Kingdoms, in schools they taught about them negatively. That is what effects the different opinions.

  • so your basicly say the current islamic government not a dictatorship

  • Dictatorship is a secular form of government. Theocarcy is a religious form of government. The Iranian Regime is similar to the Holy Roman Empire and the Papal States. Or Teutonic State of Prussia.

  • in what shape or form did i say anything like that?

  • Comment removed

  • Great watch, thanks for up loading. 5/5

  • they didnt mention ''The Battle of The Persian Gates'' :o

  • They never mentioned Demosthenes or Croesis :(

  • i enjoyed this docu thank you

  • I don't understand all the hate and violence here between people posting most of these messages. Didn't you listen to the videos and the massages they had? Listen again. I guess people back then had less hate in them than they do now!! It is not about one nation being the best, the greatest or superior; it is all about those who choose to be human and those who choose to be less!! Not about race, rather the ideal ideas! So, dear viewers, be nice to each other!! {:-)

  • @wwbehrouz its because of some jealous ppl posting hateful ignorant posts on this video, mostly arabs , I think you should type "NO Arabs allowed "on all your video descriptions.lol

  • @wwbehrouz

    was that a quote?

its about those who chose to be human..?

  • There is nothing better than the Egyptian Empire

  • as th creaters of all these videos said if u noticed at the first part , all the other empires including eygept were inspired by Persian Empire !!! u started building and etc 2000 yrs later !!! even if better its the matter of improve of human knowledge ....as we can say now USA is better in comparisam with that...funny coparring !!! isnt it that ??? ;-)

  • The same Egyptian Empire that enslaved Jews for them to build the Pyramids? I will agree, probably the most magnificent and unbelievable sculptures in the world though.

  • we learn alot from the history that how the powers felt down and new powers arose, so human being should learn how to be united and don't let the politician enslave them.

  • Interesting, informative and not on the level of three year-olds!...nice...but why do all youtube comment exchanges descend to backbiting, bitching and demonstrations of intolerance? Irritating.

  • Can this get un-stumbled...what a load of sh!t

  • Man, if you all can just hear yourselves calling each other names. Racism started when man learnt how to politik. They Greeks (they were from different city states remember) were probably the best example as their racism were well documented.

  • boy, americans have taken a lot from the ancient empires in engineering...roman columns of the white house, the olympiad zeus inspired lincoln memorial, the egyptian oblesix washington monument,...and now the persian style u.s. grant memorial...there are probably tons more...other than the vegas strip, of course :P

  • All Western countries have borrowed from these civilizations in their architecture and engineering, not just the U.S. Each has also created their own style and added unique contributions.

  • You are wrong. The impact of Roman and Greek empires has been Racism. You know it. Chinese however are different and I agree still continues.

  • NYcyclingFan: Not true. The Romans revolutionized achetecture. They invented fusion, by combining elements from all existing styles to create something that was both functional and aesthetically pleasing. Their roads are still in working condition after thousands of years, and their aqueducts would be too if the Vandals hadn't sabotaged them. The Greeks invented rationalism, and were the first to create naturalistic representations of the human form.

  • YES, the impact of Persian empire is alive even today. No other empire managed to continue its impact.

  • @xashaiar I wonder what do you think about China, a nation that still exist today?

  • Wow great story!!! you learn alot from these empires!!!!!

  • YOU ARE SOOO JEALOUS LOL

I have no reason to say I am something that I am not, but you need a life I think you are black and you dont want to be, just remember you cant be us go help you own people and stop trying to be something you cant be wannabe

  • Anyway, in light of the usual stupidity displayed by Youtubers (whose collective IQ nowhere near surpasses that of a beauty pageant contestant) and my frustration with them, I have to thank the person who uploaded these videos. Thanks man.

  • Bah. It's a fucking pissing contest for idiots, debating which empire was bigger or better over which.

My cock is bigger and better than all these empires combined.

  • let people believe what they want...on youtube you are never right..someone always thinks they know more than you do and what you say is always wrong..just watch

  • viva persia

  • I am a Persian, and as a Persian, one cannot say fuck Alexander, I give him credit for conquering Persians, however, he comes no where close to the brains of the Persians before him.

  • Persian Kings had an army of advisers for every matter. Alexander devised strategies himself, changed them while fighting in the battle himself, decided where and how to build cities himself, controlled effectively a huge empire of so different people planning diplomacy himself, made speeches that made people fight for him for 10 straight years on the fly, invented dozens of military techniques still used today, himself. You're right... he comes nowhere close to the brains of the Persians!!

  • U think Alexander had no advice? I think u need to think really hard about this. When Cyrus was entering to take over babylon, babylonians were joining him while Cyrus was making his route to the Babylonian throne. Cyrus was an all rounded leader. I have not heard of any greatness to the extent a Persian King, such as Cyrus, when it comes to non-military aspects. You only pointed out his military qualities. I am not discrediting Alexander, I just feel Persians had more to offer during that era.

  • Alexander's advisers were mainly 5-6 of his childhood friends. He usually ignored them. If you want to compare Eras then the only king you can compare to Alexander is Darius. Undoubtedly most of Alexander's qualities were of military nature and certainly Cyrus had extraordinary diplomacy skills, but why should one skill be greater than the other? They were bot Great kings! Alexander just has the unique privilege of fighting over 100 battles and not loosing a single one! That proves a great mind.

  • I believe u are referring to Darius the 3rd, if I am not correct, however, Era includes more than just that Darius. I think that darius was the least brightest of all. I was referring to the kings prior to him.

  • Alexander the Great diddn't create a mighty empire at all.

When the empire was ultimately crumbling he came in, conquered the states one by one, and claimed them as his own.

No doubt, that required great military genius, but think how much more genius it would have required for the Persians to not only conquer the states in the first place but engineer and create rule of law in the empire starting from scratch.

  • Who says that Persia was crumbling at the time of Alexander??? With your logic, the Romans also did not create a great empire because they didn't conquer cavemen! Alexander created an empire that functioned perfectly as long as he was alive, and he did that in only 7 years starting at the age of 20! To bad he didn't have to discover everything, from lighting fire to the atomic bomb, himself, in order for you to appreciate him!

  • lol Alexander surpassed them :P

  • Alexander came to persia and got his ass killed

  • There's no shame that persia was defeated by Alexander and the Greek army man... whats your deal

  • they did not get defeated when the war is over the battle is not done Alexander got killed then the battle was over ...

  • What history book you get that from? Alexander died but he didn't get killed. The Persian Empire was defeated man.

  • you need to read some more he got poisoned and our culture was the culture that Alexander wanted to join if the greeks defeated us there culture would of been the main culture in prsia but we had a biger influence on them culturally so the dominant culture is the winer get your shit right

  • a defeat doesn't mean a replacement of culture just means the Perisans were defeated and was no longer a major power anymore. As far as Alexander's death goes, I read more on that and no one really knows historians argue on it so we don't know if was killed unless you were there maybe you could say more, to deny defeat of the Persian Empire you would deny everything Alexander did against including the 300 spartans ;) WE ARE SPARTA!!!!! Persians can't mess man lol

  • wow get real spartans is not even reall the reall ones got fucked up by the persians what you think every move you see is reall LOL and Alexander was a persian wannabe he only had persian wives he wanted to be as far as he can from greeks and the greek culture

  • Actually no, I know the movie was fictional but in real life the Spartans were far tougher than that. A small greek army including 300 spartans held off and killed far more persians, that's the reality of it.

I don't know what's your problem though, you must not like defeat, you aren't even an original persian lol your just a mixed version of what but the real thing is either no longer here or a small population of pure blood persians are around somewhere but you ain't it so chill

  • get real most iranians are reall persians and the ones that are not they know it and me i am a real pure blooded persian stargate out of the pars

but as for greeks they are not pure at all they are all mixed up with roman blood you just show your jealousy and i know you wish you were one of us but no you cant fool go and dream on
