I have a FEB vita.. First Edition is 3G ... the 3G is a fucking joke.. complete waste of cash! You can't - Download Games, Party Chat, Play Online - complete waste.. yes these features probably wont work to well on 3g, but fuck I PAID for my device with these features and they are limited- as for the Vita itself the system is awesome for games, I have 3 games and they look and play great! but you cant party chat on "wifi" on Uncharted ... because the "Developers" turn of Network functions

If I have a large friends list will I have a sperate Vita friends list or just one big one (really need this question answered)? Also, will I be Able to download previously downloaded PSP/PS1 games If I use my PSN account? Will I see both my PS3 And Vita Trophies? @LethalWeapon99PS3 You will have all your previous account stuff on the old account. The friends list will be separated so that you it's separated between vita and ps3; and only can only see vita friends on the vita. You re-download your previous purchases. And you will most likely be able to see both trophies.

@PhantomKlown That's not quite right. It doesn't separate your friends list. You see all your PS3 and PSV friends on the same list, and can message both of them from the Vita. As for your trophies, you can see just your Vita trophies, or you can see all your "Network trophies" with basically shows you trophies for all games (PS3 and PSV).

like i get what cross game chat is, but just makeing sure this is the case all the way around. say im playing a game that isnt multiplayer and i want to talk to my friend while playing. example im playing shinobi and my friends playing shonobi can we use cross game chat while progress through the game?

@99thematrix Provided the game you are playing doesn't disable network functionality (like Uncharted does for example), then yes that would work. So if my friend was playing UMvC, and I was playing Shinobido, we could still talk to one another.

Yes it somewhat does have more ram. BUT, Sony does not have any spare RAM to have both a game run and talk through the internet at the same time. All the dedicated RAM goes straight to game and it's audio. Party Chat is NEVER coming to the PS3.

Ok, so what I've analyzed through the video so far, the party chat is active, but it seems to still need work. The fact that it takes forever to send someone the invite, and the fact that you can't send your party members a universal invite while playing the same game. They need to make a universal invitation system within the party system so it wouldn't be too much of a hassle to go through menus.

@MajinHanky Yeah it definitely needs some work, but given that PS3 doesn't even have Party Chat yet, I'd say it's definitely a step in the right direction. Hopefully with a few firmware updates, it'll end up being the addition everyone was asking for.

Obviously it doesn't suck. Basically, imagine everything in a PS3, now imagine all of that being portable, that's what the VITA is.

And with remote play, you can connect your VITA to your PS3 and play what ever your PS3 is playing, from anywhere in the world! So if you leave the Battlefield 3 disk inside your PS3, you can play it on the go. It's also a phone as it has Skype built in, which means you can do phone calls and send texts.

Image quality of the screen looks SO good even on an SD off screen capture. Noticed you're using the stick to play rather than the Dpad...is the Dpad not so good?

@TheVoidSpirit Yeah the screen is really good; it's true that seeing it through a camera doesn't quite do it justice, but the OLED screen makes the games really immersive. Oh and I just use the analog stick because of personal preference, my mate that I'm playing through party chat uses the D-Pad, and both work well, but I just prefer using the analog stick, I find it easier to get the moves out :D
