I'm a huge Red Wings fan but Osgood is bad. Have you seen the 2 goals by Talbot allowed by Osgood in game 7 of 09? First, Talbot is garbage. Second, Osgood couldn't keep his stick down to prevent a weak 5-hole goal. Third, Osgood gave Talbot the entire glove side on the second goal. Osgood sucks.

I'm a Pens fan, and actually wasn't as pissed as I thought I'd be when the Wings won, because both teams played great and Detroit really deserved it. And it was awesome to get back at 'em the next year in an epic game 7. :D I hope the final is Pens and Wings for the next 10 years, it's a great matchup.

I'd take the Pens winning a cup in the next 5 years over the Wings winning in 1 (length of Hossa's contracts that he was offered). Anything can happen in one year...injuries, or simply just a bad series and it's over. 5 years gives you many chances and the Pens still have a ton of young stars who are only going to get better in the next 5 years. That's why I'm upset about Hossa's decision. But hey, it's his gamble.

The goal was waved off on account of "goaltender interference". Now even if Holmstrom did touch Fluery, he was out of the crease. overchkin, as much of a fan as I am of the Wings, the only lucky goal for the pens was the second one, where it was banked off of a penguins skate. Osgood did have an argument though, it did seem like a kicking motion, but knowing how pro-penguins the refs are, they would've just called it a goal. If the Wings were in the same position as the pens on that one, the refs would've waved it off, I can garuntee you 100% they would.

The first goal for the Wings was luck, it did bounce off of a skate, same with the second goal for the pens. The first goal for the pens though, beat Osgood clean, same with the third one for the Wings. The third goal for the pens (although I don't think it should've been) was not luck either, nor was the second goal for the wings. Its not 70% of goals are luck, its more of a 50/50 chance of the goalie stopping it, or it going in. I can't fit my next statement in, see next statement.
