  • Ok, aside from the fact that the tank is amazing, this video is awesome. I have come back and watched it like 5 times now. The song is great, the tank is great, the video is great, and the way you put it all together makes it so much better all together. I wish you had more like this, I wish everyone did!

  • love your tank. how long has it been set up now? i would love to see a current video of it.

  • Great video. Nicely put together

  • how long did your firefish take to come out completely mine has been 2 weeks and still hides only one comes out but hides right back

  • nice tank bro, zoas look good.

  • Wow that's a lot of light! I'm barely running 40 watts maximum on mine! N it's a ten gallon too!

  • @cahernand1 yes....it was way more than I actually needed since the tank was mostly soft coral. I had a monti cap in there and a birdsnest (put in after the video). The light did provide me with good color on my corals though.

  • It was a nice tank though! How many watts were u running?

  • @cahernand1 Thanks :) I had the nova extreme pro on it which, if I remember correctly, was 108 watts. That was T5 VHO lighting.

  • I love your tank amazing do you still have it.

  • @hhinojosareef1 Thanks! Nope. This one has been taken down. I had too many tanks going at one time and got burned out. It was combined into my 35g...which has also now been taken down. I'm in the process of setting up a nano-cube 12DX (the ONE and ONLY tank I will be maintaining). I'll have videos of that one eventually. It's still cycling. I'm glad I have the video of this 10g. It lives on in videoland.

  • how do you keep alk calcium and magnesium in good level?

  • @thurrmac I use a two part, alk and calcium, B-ionic. Dosing according to the instructions. For magnesium I just use a good salt with high magnesium. D-D H2O.

  • nice man, that must have taken years

  • @FISHinformants Thanks! The knowledge took years :) A lot of mistakes and learning from mistakes. I'm still learning.

  • i love all the polyps u have and all the colors i have the same lighting on my 20 gallon its goood for softies but is limited on hard corals keep going it must be expensive tho

  • stunning tank!!

  • That is a fucking nice fish tank. Very beautiful. Someday I hope to have something similar. I just hope I can keep up on it. Seems like a lot of work.

  • beautiful tank!

  • i have that same fixture but i do not get that cool blue color what type of bulbs do you use?

  • @LAWBULSOX I was using more actinics than 10ks! That's why it looks so much bluer.

  • what kind of lighting do you use

  • nice tank.. =] i need your help =[ my 10g saltwater tank is losing water but has no leaks and i am wondering if its the heater or something..

  • Are you sure it's not just evaporation? Do you top-off your tank everyday with fresh water (no salt) to compensate for the evaporation? I put in about 1-2 cups of freshwater everyday.

  • yah thts def evaporation... just add declorinated (destilled) fresh water and u should be good.. salt does not evaporate so ur salanity may be high if ur water is low

  • very cool tank love the recordia mushrooms on the floor that was my favorit part of the video i love recordia's there my favroit corals.

  • Thanks! They are my favorite too :)

  • what moon lights do you use?

what song is that ...I rikey : )

  • oh my god that is a beautiful tank

  • thanks :)

  • DOes the zoanthid can do fine with strong flow?

  • I think some do just fine with a strong flow. You just have to try it and see.

  • @tvshowuploader3 sorry for the LATE response!!!!! zoas do fiine with strong flow...sometimes it takes them a little bit to get used to it though. Just give them time.

  • man,, your tank is MIND BLOWING...awsome!!!!

  • looks good. cant wait to see it when it grows out!

  • phew that's a lot of coral in a 10 gallon tank. love the firefish!

  • I've moved some things around, taken things out...put them in another tank, bought new things and put them in here...plus the growth has been amazing! It's time for an updated video :) I LOVE the firefish too...he's the greatest fish I've ever had!

  • do u use a skimmer

  • I don't. I do weekly 2.5 gallon water changes, without missing :) I have just taken off the chiller from this tank. I replaced the koralia pump with the vortech mp10...so the motor is now out of the tank+less heat=no chiller needed!

  • i will be posting a video of my 12 gallon and my 24 gallon nano cubes soon[ : )

  • is it up yet? gonna go check :)

  • not yet but yesterday i got a fire fish, fire shrimp, Blue tang, and lawnmower goby, and a mini arctica chiller...my fish are happy :)

  • do you use a chiller...and not to be sexist but your the first girl thats had a tank this great in a while....im definateley subscribing

  • I do use a chiller. It only kicks in on really hot days though. This is the tank's first summer :) I appreciate your great feedback! I plan to do another video soon. I've had quite a bit of growth since this one was filmed and some new additions as well.

  • Excellent video and a nice tank!

  • Thanks so much :)

  • Gena I LOVE YOUR TANK

  • Thanks! I appreciate that :)

  • whats this song called? very nice tank!!!

  • Thanks! The song is called Wake Up, by The Arcade Fire.

  • OH MAN!! Nice tank. I love all your zoos. I wish I could have zoos. I used to but they all died. So maybe in a few months I can get more again. And man, I want to get some ricordeas. Great tank!! I have a 10 gal nano too.

  • Awesome!

  • Good Job on the Tank and the video was frist class.

  • Love the tank gena .. you are enspiring me to keep some ricordeas... how do you find keeping them? and what anemone do you have?

  • Thanks! Ricordeas are super easy to keep. Good lighting, good water chemistry, and you are good to go :) I have a mini carpet nem. It decided to make it's home behind a rock at the back of the tank. I couldn't get a good shot of it. There's only one quick shot of it in the video. The male sexy shrimp spends almost all of his time in it.
