Really well done video for someone like me who cannot visualize somethings looks by measurements. I am very visual & you painted a great picture w /your comparisons (urban decay palette, elf blush, WM beading system etc) I was perfectly able to use my products here to get it! Thumbs up! Oh the container store 3 drawer system is that as deep as the muji? I don't mean depth I mean is it back against the wall like the muji or do you have it foward to line up w/ the muji? Does it hold paint pots?TY

@hipretty Yes I have the 3 drawers system forward a little bit...I think it's about 2 inches shorter than the Muji. NO the Muji does not hold paint pots but the 3 drawer system does! Thanks I'm glad my info was helpful! =}

@xoxochewy Yes, I've heard that the 2 drawer is deeper than the 5 drawer, the 2 drawer will actually hold a MAC paint pot (but plz watch other reviews before making your final decision) =}

quick question do the mac paint pots fit if you turn them upside down?? Im really interested in the muji but i'd wanna put all my paint pots in a drawer but i usually store them upside down so i can see the name...

@glamo0ogirl No the paint pots dont fit...but I've been told that they will fit if you purchase the 3 or 2 drawer unit, but I'm not 100% certain on that so plz do your research thanks for watching! =}

I was looking for a side by side comparison of the Muji and Container Store unit and you are one of the only YTers who has posted one. Now I know what I will be purchasing and it won't be the Container Store unit. Not that there is anything wrong with it. In fact it is quite cute but I prefer the Muji to hold my cosmetic collection.

This helped sooo much! Really...thanks! U just gave me a wonderful idea when u showed the bead storage case. I find the muji to be a bit on the pricey and since a I have a TON of makeup, I don't know if that would be a wise purchase for me but it is very pretty and convenient.

Last week I placed an order on the 3 stackable drawers at the container store after seeing several vids on the Tube. After my research, I noted the Muji drawers were not as deep in length to hold things such as paint pots and pigments and I have a lot of them. I ordered item #70040 which can hold about 16 pigments. Overall Muji is a nice storage system for smaller items you may want to get to everyday. Great review and thanks again for the side by side comparison.
