@1Kittybelle i completely disagree! two weeks ago while easter shopping, i noticed the big set of disney princess dolls, tianna is dead center in front of all of them with her own centerpiece around her. that is in the standard big collection box .sold at all of the stores! my daughters backpack and many of her other disney items have tiana right there with all the other princesses. maybe its just in your area that it is like that, but definitely not here in Georgia.

@zolo120mil it's $190 for everything that those little girls got. they have more affordable packages with less thing though. The cheapest is $50. I just looked into it so my neighbors little girl could have it done as a christmas present. i wold give you a link but YouTube doesn't allow links in comments so I will tell you what it's called. it's called "bibbidy bobbidy boutique" hope thats helps you as much as it helped me.

@zolo120mil I just found out that you can bring your own dress. You can get the Disney Princes dresses at a local Disney store for about $40. And then you can get the "Crown Package" for $55 at the place. You will save $100 and get everything those girls got except the photo.

Im not sure why Disney includes Mulan in the princess line sometimes...they do the same thing with Alice from Alice in Wonderland, too.

She has a movie with her name on it (not necessary), she has an I Want Song, the movie appeals to girls like other Disney Princess movies do and Mulan is a popular character, thus she has what it takes to be included in the line-up.

@Serdikhan True, she deserves the recognition. But she is not, techinically, a princess. She's a heroine, and a darn good one at that. I never meant to imply that she doesn't have what it takes to stand with the Disney princesses--personally I think she stands apart from them because of the strength of the character. Of course she's appealing, she's been a favorite of mine since I was a child. But she is factually not a princess, whether she fits the mythology or not. That is not her title.
