Thanks for the comment. Yes, we do bring extra bows. Usually each cellist has his own spare bow. But, the carbon fiber bows we use are virtually indestructible...

We've recently switched from Barcus Berry to Schertler. But, I find that the cello sound in a venue is most attributed to EQ work and using slight effects like reverb...
