  • XD Love it. Awesome that I can find this song just by searching her name.

Faye Wong has a very pretty voice.

  • I am Australian and I love Wong Faye. She's the best!

  • Let's sing: Hái méi hǎohǎo de gǎnshòu,

    xuěhuā zhàn fàng de qìhòu.

    Wǒmen yīqǐ chàndǒu,

huì gèng míngbái, shénme shì wēnróu

Hai méi gēn nǐ qiān zhe shǒu,

    zǒu guò huāngwú de shāqiū.

    Kěnéng cóngcǐ yǐhòu xuéhuì zhēnxī

    tiāncháng hé dì jiǔ

  • Reff: yǒushíhòu yǒushíhòu Wǒ huì xiāngxìn yīqiē yǒu jìntóu. Xiāng jù líkāi dōu yǒushíhòu, méiyǒushénme huì yǒngchuíbùxiǔ. Kěshì wǒ yǒushíhòu nìngyuàn xuǎnzé liúliàn bù fàngshǒu. děngdào fēngjǐng dōu kàntòu, yěxǔ nǐ huì péi wǒ kàn xìshuǐchángliú. Hái méi wéi nǐ bǎ hóngdòu, ao chéng chánmián de shāngkǒu. rán hòu yīqǐ fēnxiǎng, Huì gèng míngbái xiāngsī de āichóu. Hái méi hǎohǎo de gǎnshòu, xǐng zhe qīnwěn de wēnróu, Kěnéng zài wǒ zuǒyòu, nǐ cái zhuīqiú gūdú de zìyóu.
  • Hope we can now observe Faye's poem in the song she sang:

  • Never really experienced, the snowflakes burst in winter. We're chilling together, thus will even more understand, what tenderness is. I haven't holding your arm, to go through this barren sanddune. maybe from this time forth, learn to cherish, forever and ever. Reff: Sometimes, sometimes, I believe everything has an end. whether to meet and to part in all sometimes, nothing is eternal.

  • Alicia is nothing in comparison. Faye is also technical expert. 1 billion people is slaves of Faye. Alicia is just dust in comparison

  • @FatCow59 yeah stop rambling like a broken record

  • What's all the mess about Mao. Just listen to the song and add coments ABOUT THE SONG.

  • Dam, 2.4 pages of comments, just from Fratcow... such a dishonour.

  • @FratCowi59 Shutup O.o

  • Been looking for this song, glad i finally find it :) Great song :)

  • her voice is super ! but the clip is boring as hell

  • NICE

  • I've become her fan since 10 years old!!!! Now 12 years had passed and finally I can go to her concert this August!!

  • i once ran into her into a bar in beijing... -she's down to earth an so real but also so unreal at the same time... -she's beautiful, she's an angel...

  • Alicia have NO chance in hell do Asia like Faye do West

  • i like khalil fong's version!

  • @huiwojueshirongyan

I have no clue what this means but I've given it a thumb up too !!! :o)

  • Both songs are good, but I tend to agree with 08lovedrama.

The korean version is softer, more "tender", more earthly.

Faye's version sounds like it's from some girl who has a very strong character.

  • I kinda like the korean version more.

  • such a pretty song....one of my favorite of all time :]

i love the way fayes sweet voice softens the harsh, sad lyrics of her songs

to those of you saying she cant sing

    she definitely can

but u cant make a pop singer have voices of opera singers or r&b singers

fayes voice is just what is needed for pop songs

many of the famous new pop singers would pay thousands of dollars 2 see her concert after years of hiatus

no many how many haters are there, she is forever an icon of chinese pop

  • @chuchi56579 Well said. It's perfectly OK to not like her music, but to claim she can't sing one must be deaf.

  • Ira Pak

  • i love this song!!!!!!!

  • Faye Wong is definitely the best female singer in Asia. She is a very beautiful and classy woman, but her beauty never distract us from her angelic singing ... now how many female singers can do that? Love you Faye, past, now and forever!

  • @heidishiu I want to see her sing an Alicia Keys song. See if she can still make a sound on the high notes.

  • @iquu2k1 : Well, no doubt Alicia Key is a great singer, but she is not in ASIA!!!! I am not saying Faye is the best singer in the whole universe, but she is definitely one of the most successful in Asia. Besides, i would love to see how Alicia Key handles Faye's songs like Hon Dou and 我願意etc, i have no double Alicia has great singing skill, but she lacks the same soft and gentle demeanor that Faye and lots other Asian women have to make them different from western singers.

  • @heidishiu Technically Faye is a division above. Just watch again her impression of "Bohemian Rhapsody".... nuff said... Alicia is nothing in comparison

  • @heidishiu I 100000% agree with you... that soft and gentle tone make Asian women's voice special...

  • @heidishiu Faye will beat her hands down. She have two advantages: Know both sides of language and is technical superior by a mile.

  • your sound so sweet like angeles vn one night stand in saigon

  • @costalitoshow

Here are the lyrics using Google Translator and my own limited knowledge of Chinese, English, and Spanish:

    Hay momentos, hay momentos

Creo que todo tiene un final

reuniones, despedidas, todas tienen su final

    nada dura para siempre

pero a veces prefiero no dejar ir

hasta que podamos ver a través del escenario

Tal vez se me acompañan, poco a poco

  • Her voice is one of the best from all the female singers I know. I love her sandy voice but not too deep and bold. Very soothing and natural.

  • she looks like fei in some angle

  • Love her, :) wonderful voice!

  • beautiful song, but I don't see what the big fuss is about. she's not a bag singer, but she's average at best.

  • @Rosette46 Please recommend some "great" singers so we know where you are coming from.

  • @shinsenrc where I'm coming from? I never thought I'd have to back up an opinion up with another opinion. regardless, seems to me that WF is more of a celebrity than a singer.

  • @Rosette46 That statement describes all of chinese pop. In chinese pop culture, the idea of celebrity and singer are inseparable. They are one and the same. They are just as known for movie roles, talk show appearances, and an entire pop culture identity as they are for their music.

  • @Rosette46, I hope you're opinion isn't based on just this song. This was originally a promotional track. If you want to know what Faye Wong's singing ability is all about, you have to check out her live performances of more traditional Chinese songs. She has good pop songs but they do not define her legacy.

  • my favorite song! Faye is the best.

  • this was featured in ff8?

  • @pijiu4u LOL no. Thats eyes on me. Same artist though :P

  • @pijiu4u no

  • i've never listened to any of 王菲's songs until this one. but i gotta say, this woman can sing!

although family is important, i hope she continues singing because her voice is too unique and lovely to deprive the world of.

  • if you watched chunking express and didn`t fall in love with her you are stupid, gay or not human...

  • @AlvarHanso84 to categorize those three terms together and use "gay" derogatorily is what's stupid and not human...

  • idk y she is not the type of girl u want to fuck, but the type you want to spend time and cherish the moments till the day you die

  • this song is beautyfull ...ANNA WIZKO ^v^

  • best song ever

  • Is faye wong chinese or japanese??

  • @khmerpreah401 She is from Mainland China, but can speak Mandarin, Cantonese, English, and some Japanese.

  • @Kamisamadesu1 Oh thanx! She can pass for a jap lolz! But when she sing in Chinese it sounds better!

  • @Kamisamadesu1 Actually I don't think Faye can speak more than 10 sentences of Japanese and her English is passable at best. She also can't play any musical instrument. But none of that matters, Faye IS the one. Her voice, her singing techniques, her philosophy... at least in the Chinese world, she will never be replaced.

  • @khmerpreah401 she is chinese

  • This 'original' Chinese is amazing but try listening to the Korean versions by Lee Haeri of Davichi and Lee Boram of Seeya!! They are just really good too!!

  • this is my childhood song, makes me cry when i hear it ;(

  • a wonderful melody

  • 19 peoples click wrong button

  • @TenTenPiemaster: yeah, it was never featured in the game at all :|

  • Our Chinese teacher had us listen to this song in class one day and I loved it! I'm glad I found it!

  • it says featured in FF VIII but i dont know where it is in the game? Am i stupid or is this song not in the game at all?

  • @TenTenPiemaster, they featured Hong Dou for the Chinese version of the game. For English and Japanese versions, we got Eyes On Me, also by Faye Wong.

  • Means "Red Bean" in Mandarin for you non-Chinese speaking friends. "Hong" is 2nd tone and "Dou" is 4th.

  • Love Faye Wong, beautiful song...

  • wow i thought it was just eyes on me. Apparently Faye Wong just plain out kicks ass.

  • she looks like an angel

  • @KitkCat FOOL....you have never seen one :P

  • @KitkCat she SOUNDS like an angel =P

  • Wong Fei is so gorgeous. An equally beautiful voice as well. I wish the U.S had "real" musical artists like her

and others that exist in the Asian music markets.

  • One of the best song ever!!!!!!

  • it's called hong du II (red bean II) sung by lee bo ram

  • @blu3bubbl3 It means 红豆 In Chinese it means U'r missing someone

  • @dlnara UH, no i doesn't, it means red bean

  • @dlnara #fail read the song description before commenting.. hehe it's clearly said "RED BEAN" Hong means Red, Dou means Bean. not missing some1

  • @Miffincy

The other name of Red Bean(Hong Dou/紅豆) is"相思豆/Xiang Si Dou".

    「相思」means missing someone in Chinese.

Thats why @dlnara said Hong Dou means "missing someone".

The lyrics of this song has shown the relationship between them

    :)

  • @jocyanide

so, it is not just missing someone.

  • whats your definition of god? is he there to help? or is he just there to watch? what's his purpose for being around you? answer these questions please

  • dont be rediculous. you know how many ppl pray to god and still end up with a bloody death? how do you know god created everything? it could be many other reasons.

  • lol they died because their souls chose to? lol i dont think i need to further prove my point

  • You came to the wong place

  • in general, the genetic defect 4 religion (god creator) is not so mutch common in China. Thet did not even have a word 4 god untill Jezuïtes invented "Shang Ti". I hope China shall pratect normal people in the future and I send lots of real love from Belgium. The Turks blok certain sites 2 on the internet and where is the protest there?

  • @isleofyew1 Yea I be t Belgium is full of love and stuff. We chinese too care of each other why we need a god. And Fyi the majority of chinese is buddist and we are proud of it. So not having a word for god does that really matter. So Belgium kind of love is only for christian. Wow how immortal is that!!!

  • @isleofyew1 ..you clearly have no understanting of culture..religion in China has been longer than that of the West. Please use proper English before attempting to make another useless remark. You say this and send love? May "God" have pity on you.

  • @isleofyew1 That's because god doesn't exist

  • God do exist. What makes u say that he doesn't? He just can't be seen because he is everything and everywhere

  • @aznmiss1045 you cant say god exists, but you cant say he doesnt

  • prove it please

  • Red bean represent missing a person badly

  • @mjinful really?

  • From a distant memory, red bean was refered as symbol of lovesickness(xiangsi in chinese)

  • @mjinful

it should be yearning between lovers!

  • First thing I thought: "red bean soup"

  • I LOVE THIS SONG! Haven't heard it in years! Brings back old memories.

  • i miss Faye Wong.

  • was this song featured in the chinese version of final fantasy viii?
