Wow, I can't believe all the negative feedback this video has. People are retarded. They clearly don't understand what you are trying to accomplish by doing this, or why it useful. Oh well, let them keep banging balls mindlessly around a bar table and see how far it takes them.
Why stop here?? generate a computer algorithm to calculate angles and select optimum shot with calculated ball placement and just play using a mouse and keyboard. Its a game of skill, stop turning it into a game for the handicapped(no disrespect intended).
I'didn't get how it works. What is the sense of the laser? Don't you have to know the right angle anyway? How does it help to find the right point at the ball to play?
@Schurik72 understandable question. If you were to set up 4 different angled break shots and mark their positions and the cb's also when shooting the laser it'll be on a specific point of the object ball and you would simple keep projecting it at that point as you train yourself to see what the shot actually looks like when aimed correctly. And that is all I'm trying to do for players here, help them know the sighting answer for sure so they can train themselves faster.
@mcjuvey1 I have to oppose to that, even though knowing where you need to hit the object ball, it is still not that easy to hit the cueball just right.
If you have a unstable stroke, and a unstable shot, you would miss those shots he performed by 50%.
A beginner would most likely even though laser technolegy miss those shots by 90%, if you account the power, and effects. If a beginner roles it in very slowely, its easy ofcourse.
@1234blabla1234 it is ridiculous if you need a laser aiming aid then you must not be very good i have never used an aiming aid and never needed one im not saying im the best but im good enough not to need one and always have been in my eyes its cheating. as for hitting the cue ball right itis easy to know where to hit it aslong as you use your head bottom of the white for screwback top of the white for top spin left of the white for lef hand side and vice versa. its called common sense!!
@mcjuvey1 They are training devices to help people learn the game faster. You are really ignorant this guy is a great player. I'd take a bet with just about anyone who challenged me to a game playing 1 handed.
thats because the device does not allow for applying spin on the ball and practising tight cut shots like he is always usually requires a spin to correct white or position on next ball.
i wasn't dissing him. I was just joking by repeating the eairler comments, im sick and tired of their being no humor anymore, you say one thing and automatically it was meant to be a diss. lighten up people.
then I apologise the same as you I'm starting to lose track of what's actual an insult or a joke let alone if the comment is anything to do with the video at all.
all whiners lay off, he's just helping, not doing an actual game. thanx for this, i've been meaning to learn how to play for a while and this just got me started!!
of course you should but in the past we did have options to help speed up the process. Many players don't see the shot properly and end up making last second stroke corrections and that leads to inconsistency. The laser shows them what the shot should look like that way they can train their eyes & brain as to what the shot really looks like.

Wow good job, you managed to basically cheat the game, and by the way nice shot on the second one, why even put a video of you sinking the cue, that makes it an even worse shot because they get ball in hand. Good job, please get good.
I'm sorry you're offended but thats what I do I train & help people improve. I've hit millions of balls to reach a pro level and want to help others save time to reach the same level. What level do you play at?
He is only scratching because the racked balls are not there - for teh purpose of the demonstration. In 14.1 - or straight pool - there would be 14 balls racked in a pyramid - Joe would shoot these shots and the cue ball would contact that rack and splatter the balls. Without the rack there, the cue ball will just rocket into the pocket.
dude... he was emulating a straight pool BREAK shot. therefore, if the rack was there (which it would be for what he was emulating) he would not have scratched but instead hit the rack. You please get good. Because your comment proves you obviously suck.
wow, look, I found a pool player!

@needabloodyname Fail?? If i were playing for real in straight pool (14.1) there would be a rack of balls scattering, the scratch would not happen.
jt10ball 1 year ago
Stay there, stroking it, look at it, develope a relationship, retrain yourself so you know what it's suppose to look like.
LOL

0:45 wtf? thats like the most easy shot ever and you take 15 seconds to aim with a laser shot?
Lex3M 3 years ago
We can play some if you like.
jt10ball 3 years ago
at least just use your hands, those things are not even allowed on tournaments.
Lex3M 3 years ago
the idea of this is to see the right angle and to practice stroking it so it sticks in ur mind.
u fuckin retard.
ermaduk 2 years ago
i could pot them without potting the white aswell...
Nathrockz123 3 years ago
There would be a rack of balls there preventing the scratch if I were playing 14.1. I'm just practicing the break shot angle.
jt10ball 3 years ago
shouldnt ya just play it over and over to get better?
