  • Windows XP is and always will be the absolute best at giving access to people who want to have a fiddle. The reason that I think that it WILL ALWAYS be the best, is because the trend in O/S's is (currently) to make them easier to use for newbies. And of course the cost for ease of use is limited access to programs and other features, so that the "newbie" has minimal risk of fucking things up.

  • Does anyone know if this mobo is using Rev 1.0 or Rev 1.1? Huge difference IMO especially those that are now stuck on 1.0

  • All you guys are fucking trolls thinking you can overclock and BTW enthusiastic overclockers use xp

  • doesnt look like it opens cpu-z very fast?

  • BUYS TOP OF THE LINE HARDWARE. RUNS WINDOWS XP.

  • @1337Murloc You obviously have no idea about overclocking my friend...

  • It could be a great fake :)

    Congratulations :)

  • Congratulation

  • I wonder what does your energy bill looks like right now.

  • windows xp lol

  • OMG @@ 5,643 MHz

  • 2 cores noting spechil

  • Chuck Norris will be laughing right now. Because he overclocks his pc with infinite multiplier with all cores active.

  • Whaa? Two cores?

  • And now install linux on that pc.

  • Very nice

  • What is the music?

  • Hicookie, where did you learn to do things like overclocking?

  • one problem tho ... in the task manager @ 04:11 i only see one active core(2 threads).

of course you can easily overclock to 5.7 GHz with only one active core.

  • @lazy0frog

Yet he took 4 world records. Your point? The pi tests are not multi threaded, and this was the purpose.

  • NOW THE QUESTION WILL IT RUN Windows 3.11!?!?!

  • +1 avecl'un des coms précédents il n'y a plus qu'à voir ce que pourrait donner une carte maman plus High Tech.

    très bon job

  • I was impressed, until I saw only 2 cores.

  • Wow only 2 cores enabled

  • xp?for real?

  • Still takes CPUID FOREVER to load hehe.. No faster than my 975X :-P

  • if you do that with ud3 i dont want to think what you will do in ud7 :O

  • your pc drinks alot of coffee :))) ...

    nice oc man ... cinebench?

what ram and cooler are you using?

  • @12345678uygfcxdrtghn

    System Specifications

    GIGABYTE GA-X79-UD3 (F7 BIOS)

    Intel Core i7 3930K* (@5,643.3MHz)

    Kingston HyperX Genesis PC3-19200 2GB x 4 (@2376MHz)

    Corsair AX1200

  • In i7-3930K were 6 cores and 12 threads. Now is 2 cores and 2 threads.. Poor overclocking ..

  • How long does liquid nitrogen last anyway?

  • Gigabyte has XP drivers for this motherboard :O

  • oh wow guys - only 1 core enabled - lame!

  • oh yes - 1M, 32M and PiFast ... known for being the most demanding PWM benchmarks ever

  • Comment removed

  • @BiZaZ Lol the purpose of those benchmarks is not to prove the system stable.. it's to show you how fast the CPU can calculate those values

  • and now there goes a $800 cpu for the purpose of a useless benchmark weee!

  • @bobsparob

useless is a very relative term you bellend.

by the same logic you used, folding at home, gaming, and using it for anything I dont like are also USELESS things....

  • @xSiliconKnightx How long does the cpu last after you do the phase change cooling btw? But to me $800 for those things :/ Idk lol I like computers and all but that seems a little over done.

  • @bobsparob

as long as the cpu still works it lasts as long as if you were using air cooling.....

and if you want 5.7 you gotta do this or the cpu will degrade

  • So much for the theory that the F7 BIOS throttles the CPU...

  • Windows Xp ftw

  • @brunthroath6912

XP its good for super pi ;)
