  • WOW

  • Funny how i found myself filling in the gaps. Oh now oh now oh now oh....oh now oh now oh now oh...take it back, take it back,,,,take it..take it take it take.....HA I love this.

  • The sounds Led Zeppelin was using and coming up with, was well ahead of their time. But their musical understanding spans centuries into the past and into the future for thousands of centuries. You hear Pink Floyd come and go, but when you hear a murmur of a Led Zeppelin members name, or a songs name, or you hear a song by them, you almost stop and listen for more. Then you have the song or name in your head. For good. The journey they took us on is one no mortal has touched expect for them.

  • A cascade of silvery sound that gives me shivers...thank you so much for sharing this!

  • Zeppelin's forth album put them beyond criticism, forever, my mother even listens to it.

Pink Floyd, Dark Side of the Moon

    Deep Purple, Machine Head

    Black Sabbath, Paranoid

    Rush, 2112

    etc.

  • yeah Robert ya champ best rock voice of all time and Jimmy Page no more said .......genius

  • Led Zeppelin spontaneous

  • At 1:04 is that Silver Creek Falls by Silverton Oregon???

  • excuse the hyperbole but the plant-denny duet is probably the greatest pairing of voices in recorded history.

  • nice visuals dude.

  • many thanks from someone who's trying to learn the mandolin part. This is clear and it's Jimmy playing not someone covering this great song. Really grateful for this posting

  • 4.00-end is absolute genius

  • cool !!! :-)

  • Wow...this is like the holy grail for zep fans. Dude how the hell do you have these?

  • Sandy Denny does the higher vocals

  • That's it!....these have to come out on CD or audiofile, this stuff is absolutely like the Holy Grail for Zep fans like me!! Very interesting.

  • This is available on bootleg. The version I have is from an album called "Sessions" on The Diagrams Of Led Zeppelin label

  • Can you please tell me where I could purchase? Thank you.

  • haha 1:10 is a pic of cucumber falls, ohiopyle, pa. great audio but i like it more when he really pushes it. this is kinda laid back but i think it fits better with the theme to have a little more urgency in the vocals.

  • plant's approach in the vocal is very

    dreamy sounding! very cool!

i love the original too! lol!

  • I think it was a singer songwriter called Sandy Denny. She was the only guest vocalist on a Zeppelin album. It works so well, really nice!

  • This is an absolute, rare and true treasure-especially with the alternate lyrics. Thanks so much for sharing this. What a rare treat and privilege to listen to. Thanks for your kindness in posting this! :-)

  • wait i have this song? is it rare or something?

  • Hey, you got a CD with all these outtakes? They're great! Keep it up, please!

I really much like The Battle of Evermore(can play it on guitar...)

  • this is really cool==i kinda like the flow with less lyrics but i still love the regular one too : )

  • it sounds likely that this is a first take over jimmy's guitar after penning the lyrics.... probably adding more lyrics & then deciding to add the 2nd part vocals to complete it....

    NICE FIND
