Anette's image is totally pop. Metal singers are not fashion icons. And you have to know that before Nightwish, Anette was a pop "singer". She has no idea from metal. Have you seen many metal female singers like her? Sharon den Adel, Amy Lee, Tarja Turunen, Simone Simons... They are true metal queens. Anyway, everyone has it's opinion ;)

Anette isn't always "pop", she often dresses gothic, she wears what she feels like it, and I admire her courage to be different, although I'm not into colourful outfit. But image doesn't make music. I know she has sung almost every style of music, and when she joined NW, I had doubts like everybody. But have you heard her Ghost love score? Com'on, the lady can sing, why don't you admit it? Just different style, but not worse. Tarja is great, but gone. And NW are just ..unique. Ellada kai sy? :-)
