  • the heart of texas is a few miles east of the wulf ranch bout a mile are two east of mercury and thats a fact

  • @dieland...........its called floating a bearing....recon....the thing they are pulling is a chain.....a steel measuring tape.........10 years huh? sad.

  • I can't think of any better music to go with this video than French cafe music.

  • 0:38 is that Indiana Jones? The gay version

  • Gay!

  • Very nice!

  • reminds me of surveying the mountains of pennsylvania in the 1920s

  • reminds me of following my clueless dad around looking for Virginia points in the 80's

  • you all are surveyers? where are your machettes?

  • It's all flat out there! Easy! Retracements in WV usually traverse hills with slopes of 20-30 degrees. And I'd say that at least 3/4ths of the descriptions used slope distances, and error of closure of 1:5 is not uncommon. Though, I have seen some "chiseled X on rock" marks done in the mid 1800's come within 0.1' by total station.

  • Cool video cuz

  • great job :)
