-Water rope sucks..

-For escaping, I just stick a pressure plate on the inside of my house behind a door.

It opens the door when I go out. When I go in, I have to open it manually, but it closes after I step off the plate, keeping mobs out.

-I love the drop shaft!

-Directing water with signs takes a lot more work than just using dirt.. I always have plenty of dirt just from terraforming or cobblestone from mining..

-I love the breathing under water with signs idea!

The sign thing works for doors (2x1x1) and ladders. I perfer ladders because they use less wood to make as opposed to signs unless you need to write something

@TheTaker3k Aye, they all work but i just use signs. Signs are better than ladders because you can place them anywhere =]. Doors are the best on the flat, ladders are best on walls but signs are good on either ;)

Just thought I'd point out, a wooden door is usually better for working underwater, it gives a 2 x 1 space of air that you can stand in, and you can open/close it to get a view out different sides while still being in breathable air:P But It's good to see you're back to minecraft videos:)

Love that water elevator thing looks incredibly usefull for droping large distances for super high construction projects or scaleing them without makeing a ton of ladders.
