Suzanne Charney is mesmerizin' as Catherine Rawlins, the Vampire and KUDOS to David Chase's teleplay in Season 1, Episode 4: The Vampire ~ October 4,1974
It's too bad that nothing better than Night Stalker was ever made afterwards. I guess there wasn't enough ratings to temp producers in to trying to recreate the seriers in a more modern light.
@macnutz I know the one you speak of and it was so darn AWFUL that I had to Induce myself to watching all of my CHRISTOPHER LEE Dracula movies just to shed the poison in my brain. The watch Peter Cushing in Frankenstein for positive reinforcement.
I found the coolest bit of info about the history of vampires. It may have originated in mass graves used, I think it was during times of plagues and such. If the graves were dug up at a later date some bodies were found to be bloated and blood was found coming out of the mouth, also the shroud that was put over the head looked like it had been eaten away.
The superstitious people of the time assumed that they eaten their shrouds and fed on the blood of the other bodies and gotten fat.
What really happened, as modern science will tell you, is the decomposing bodies produced gas that caused them to bloat. The pressure of the gas forced blood out of their mouths, it was their own blood. And the shrouds were eaten away by bacteria, I think.
I've also, though, heard it suggested that vampires and werewolves both came from the same thing, basic human fear of the unknown that might be lurking out in the darkness. An entirely natural animal like a wolf, half seen in the moon light, could be taken for a supernatural creature when the human mind fills in the missing details and exaggerates. Unfortunately this is still going on today.. witness the chupacabra paranoia that's spread to the Southern US.
theram222, it's because those of us who adore Dp will watch ANYTHING he puts up - paint drying, something evolving, reading the phone book, ANYTHING! It's all in good fun :}
Perhaps this is what he wants as a job? I know some that do. The ultimate lazy job, that is, after you've done the work. Some are making up to 30k per month, serious caaaash to be made on here!
The episode that kept me up at night for a week was the one where a space alien came to Earth to repair its space craft, look at a star map, and suck the bone marrow out of a few people.
My fave Kolchak moment was from a show involving some sort of energy being terrorizing a hospital and Kolchak found it by developing a pile of x-ray films to reveal this enormous montage that looked like a vortex with an eye inside it :P
Kolchack is a detective (or is he a reporter, I don't remember) from a 70's television program called "The Night Stalker". He is always running into preternatural cases.
I was scared for weeks after watching this TV episode when it originally aired.

I would like someone to explain how a stupid video like this gets 1100+ views and 52 comments. This is stupid!!!!
theram222 2 years ago
You might want to ask yourself that question, given your contribution to the popularity of the video.
And hey, it's Youtube. Magibon has subscribers just to see her stare back!!
HammandClov 2 years ago
Yes, but Magibon clearly isn't human. Maybe she's a vampire.....

Yeah, just to echo HammondClov here, really, though--you just watched it AND made a comment. Did you know what it was before you watched it?
He has a lot of subscribers. They watch his videos.
What needs explaining?
