I HATE the Mongol heavy cavalry. I was playing as Venice and was only able to survive one initial attack once they breached the gates. They just had to go south of the Caspian sea!

Yeah, in Rome everything just goes so fast, in medieval ur units don't rout fast so you have time to surround the enemy and bring in other units.
