Nice video, you could do a whole series based on several different authors. Start with the "Superman" serials, "Buck Rogers" and "The Time Machine". Don't forget, the first "real" movie made was a Jules Verne story of the first men on the moon!
@Bullettube Superman has a very dark side. Superman has evolved from eugenics to replace the messiah. The Time Machine represents a universe without God. Yuck
Ok Guys!here is part two: Time Machine (remake),Children of Dune (2ent mini series),Paycheck,Starship troopers,Dune (movi,lynch,80ts), as for the Unicorn i have to pass, sorry guys :D
It would be a hell of a list but i will try so here is part one: Total Recal,Blade Runner,Minority Report,Impostor,Solaris (remake),Dune (tv.mini series),Bicenteniel Man,
damn! i saw like 5 mintues of it when i was flipping through channels. i didnt want to watch it from the middle so i didnt. but then i forgot what was the name of the movie, thanks
lazarus long would be a great story into motion. number of the beast even better. complicated though. a series would nail it if producers had the walnuts to pull it off. in any event, these vids assure the ideal of music to enhance story telling.
Mostly Philip K. Dick stuff which is fine by me because he was a real visionary. Doesn't anybody wish though that SOMEBODY would finally do a decent adaptation of an Isaac Asimov story. The Postronic Man and I,Robot were both turd! Are producers afraid of cerebral sci-fi these days?
Yes, that is exactly IT! Look at Starship troopers. The book had a lot of social commentaries - they made it into 90210 on steroids instead! That's why there are so few movies from Lem's stories...
AntonProctor: Asimov was not a very visual writer nor very interested in deep characters. He wrote about ideas, which his characters would discuss. So translating his work to film would be more challenging than, say, Heinlein.
You are kidding? Google it. It's a movie that's become a cult classic, although Tom Cruise said he'd rather forget about ever doing it. It's the scene with a Unicorn. I wonder, why "Chariots of Fire" music? I like Vangelis, but that piece is from a movie about runners. An I forgot how good a theme fro Trminator was...
The scene with Unicorn is from "BLADE RUNNER" - the director's cut version. It's a Deckard's dream. I chosen Vangelis' "Chariots of Fire" and Fiedel's "Terminator" theme ONLY because it really fits. I think that "Legend" isn't released in my country or maybe it's now hard-to-get-it. Think what you want - never seen that movie, that's a fact ;). Cheers..
"Legend"? You know... I made this video from trailers - maybe one was wrong linked, but in fact I don't remeber that I have used scenes from "Legend" (more - I never heard about this picture).
Is he thinking of the horse scene? Of course, that came from the Blade Runner Director's Cut. They had to use that unicorn footage because the original was degraded too far to use.
Shouldn't Jules Verne have been included?
You get a thumbs up!

How about something from Mack Renolds,Fred Saberhagen, or even Spider Robinson. No, todays sci fi movies are aimed at selling crap toys to kids.

No, a beach ball as a beserker. Hmm, there just MUST be a market for that.
How about anything about Bolos - either original Laumier or the follow-ups?

How do you google something exactly with no keywords, title or name. Does google now do frame image lookup from films??

OK, what does a scene from "legend" have to do with SciFi? I liked it otherwise
