I was just a child when who was glued to the Television when Charlies Angels came on. So I had some of my first memories watching her. I loved her Logans Run a 70's scifi flick. She was a stunning woman but I didn't remember her like that. Because I was so young then she was more like a mother figure then a sex symbol. That's saying a lot being that I'm African American. I'm 40 now and have many fond memories of this great lady.
One must wonder WHY this cancer developes. Because this was anal cancer it would appear to me that one's eating habits would be the cause. I have heard that eating salads and with lettace is necessary to clean out the waste trac.
That's the thing about cancer. Even with all the research and money being spent on it, no one really knows the "How?" or "Why?". Cancer is just one of those currently unexplained things. It just happens.
They know that smoking causes lung cancer. Drinking destroys the liver. It would seem reasonable that bad food would cause stomach & anal trac cancers. They should release what her diet was. I bet it was all greasy, fat ridden foods, charcol cook food.
I quit eating red meat & charcoal cooked food years ago. No fast food. Little grease etc. Maybe twice a year I have a charcoal broiled hambuger.
As the saying has it: "if it tastes good spit it out!"
Smoking doesn't always cause cancer, though. My mom smoked, but she had cancer all over her body and died. My grandmother smoked for at least 50 years, and she's fine and still alive today. As for food, it's SUPPOSED to taste good. The key is moderation.
