Is it my imagination but I've seen a few SAMFS vids and it seems if there's more than 1 truck responding, the one behind doesn't use it's siren? Confirmation would be nice :)
yes and no. in this case the bronto was responding from the station while the pump was on the road already. the bronto was given the traffic lights from the station to the call, it just so happened that the pump had to wait for him.
the call itself was only just down the road from here so he could easily follow the bronto in without his siren.
the call was a fixed alarm at the royal adelaide hospital.
@scottdd2 Usually you paralell run so trucks dont come together, usually radio chat when two rigs comr up to an intersection to avoid coming together, and the first into the intersection gets right of way.
It DEFINATELY isn't a typical USA aerial, that's for sure. BUT, if you Google "Upper Saucon Fire" and/or "Kennet Square Fire" you see they BOTH have Bronto Towers. STAY SAFE!
@scottdd2 Hey man E-ONE market Bronto's across the USofA, wouldnt be surprised if they replace the straight sticks similar to those used in New York, have a look on E-ONE website.
Looks like your sign on the side of the ladder got a bit singed! Hope your ladder passed inspection after that!

Check out my vids for the MFB, Melbourne's Brontos. Three are identical to the SAMFS one above; based on the Scania P113H chassis.
