Good to see that someone from North America and actually say Mazda properly! It looks like the diesel is the one to choose. Sounds like it should go well.
ugly car...but still outdone by the tasteless obnoxious porsche cayenne (especially original) which is one of the most ugly cars on earth...goes to show you how many people have no taste and need to uphold their artificial image of greatness !! Cant wait to see Maserati Kubangs driving alongside those blobs and giving them the bird !!
@Benasorus No.04, Not recommendable in non-Asia markets, often no spare-parts available on short-notice; Not bad design, however NO user-friendly technology, either;
In terms of interiors, Mazda has NEVER been ahead of the game. I love their exterior styling and even test drove a 3 and a CX-7. Both interiors looked awkward and dated compared with other brands. It was probably one of the biggest reasons I passed up buying one.
Incredible Mazda!!! Love the design and power..So atlast Mazda give importance to engine Hp and torque with 2.0 rated @ 165hp is perfect. The only thing i dont understand why Mazda didnt introduced 2.5 ltr engine along with 2.0 ltr. I recon if Mazda introduce 2.5 ltr skyactiv engine it will be best in terms of power.
I hope this goes on sale on January..Mazda interiors are the best and the handling in their cars can't be matched by Honda or Toyota..I'm just worried about how these high compression engines will run on regular 87 octane gas in the long run. I was waiting for the MAZDA 3 Skyactive in Oct. but this looks better.
I suppose the rainwater does not drain into the rocker panels on this model. Also, the interior is mouldproof ? Consumers should have a choice. This is just greed, not need. If Mazda were serious about the consumer, they would make a bomb-proof composite body with a lifetime warranty, and non-corroding suspensions/underpinnings. This won't happen. Greed is 'not' engineering, it is a mental illness.
best car

I like it!! Two questions. 1. is it available in 4WD? 2. Will there be a turbo engine available?

If it comes with the standard transmission I there, I will buy it. Especially if comes with the v6.

@FloridaRaider Yep, he actually said it correctly like the rest of the world does! Last time I looked there was no "R" in Mazda. :-)

That sounds awesome with the big diesel
Wish we could get a diesel in the
current cx-7
I've seen some tuned up awd turbo cx-7 that kick butt
I can only imagine the power they could squeeze out of a turbo diesel

GREAT new Mazda...they are always great looking cars...
None are ODD, to use the words of their Japan CEO and President, "Mazda does not do normal"....that is the #1 reason WHY Mazda's are so great.
You look after them and they will reciprocate or should I say Wankel..
