Her moves are well connected like reeling silk while showing a high degree of difficulty. This level of skill takes many years of dedicated practice which is real kung-fu.
This is really top level, she certainly knows her stuf. Don't forget it is competition and a competition form (42 combined) with some extra difficulty built in. Don't compare a competition perfomance with a gentle and relaxed taijiquan session in a park somewhere. These modern masters generally know theuir stuff and their basics, yes i is real taijiquan. Try to practice with one of them for a while and you you will know.
Are you kidding?? Horrible demonstration?? Her grip is fine, it's supposed to be relaxed, she's not hacking through bodies, she's cutting wrists, etc. etc.... technique is fine, sure she adds jumps but the basic technique is good
Taiji is Taiji, from any angle this is not Taiji and not wushu as well, another culture revolution by the China government, they simply destroy the original matrial arts that has developed in the past. What kind of shit is that!!
Pan Hao Hao from the Zhejiang wushu team; except for this competition, she had been temporarily traded to the Beijing team. Also played the shepherd girl in the "New Shaolin Temple" TV series with Wu Jing and Yu Hai.
