How to play garageband with a Midi Keyboard on Ipad

@vaghoust Mate seriously now dont waste your time with ipad.Its not made for music production.Any other mac or pc is better than this.You cant write or produce music on it and its way too overpriced for playing with its plastic midi sounds from garageband.If its your third computer or something fine but....its more of a...stylistic purchase than it is useful.....

The pitch wheel on my keyboard works very well on the Ipad

no jailbreak required, the Ipad 2 works with midi standard. Use a midi keyboard with a powered usb hub

That's it, you need a powered USB hub because the ipad doesn't provide power to an external device

Are you using a powered USB hub? Cause i have that same keyboard and couldn´t connect on mine.

Very misleading. You can't make loops with a MIDI keyboard.

@indaswamp Yep. I own a Korg and a Axiom Midi keyboard. And you're correct about prodouchers putting samples and loops in music and making millions.
