I love Keith, but Rachel is a breath of fresh air. Time for him to move on and for Rachel to take over Countdown duties, I think.

Honestly, I'm sure the folks at MSNBC were considering this when they gave Rachel the week. Keith has been coming under some (partly deserved) criticism for his shrill tone recently, and MSNBC needs it's flagship show to stay mainstream, and to not be all about Keith. All-American Rachel Maddow is the perfect host.

I think I prefer the shrill tone honestly just because his monologues sound exactly like the voice in my head when I get pissed off at the news & the BS that BillO says & I think is the best way to refute that crap... Equally "tough talk" but with precision accuracy

she has her own show on air america, runs 6pm to 9pm I think, or around that time at least
